WD must stand for "Well Done". It's housing thousands of my family photos (and documents). It's easy to use and downloads pretty quickly. I'm glad I made this purchase!

Nice hard drive overall and nice inclusion of usb-c to usb adapter. If using with a mac you have to do an annoying setup work around the first time but then it’s standard

As happy as I am with my Hard Drive, I was disappointed to discover, after plugging it into my computer, that it was not configured for a MAC. I made it a point to ask the clerk if it was compatible with a MAC and was told that yes, it worked with a MAC but did not mention that I had reconfigure it before it would actually work with my computer. I lost precious time fixing the problem that could have easily been avoided.

It works as promoted. I was able to transfer some important documents to the drive.

I purchased another one of these a couple of years ago, but needed to be able to back up my computer without deleting any of the files currently on the older version. This works well and I was glad it came with a cord adapter so it can work with either of my computers.

I bought this for a class and it works very well. You do have to set up the software that comes with this to work. So beware of that. If you want something that works out of the box, then consider something else.

This my second external hard drive. First one was so good I had to buy a second one A lot of space, fast and price was a good value.

I love this device! It’s so slim and compact and easy to use! Just make sure you format it to your preference before saving any files.

Used to send media to a client. data transferred with no issues and the drive survive shipment and the client had no issues accessing the files.

Bought this as i have my regular laptop and a traveling laptop. Hated that i needed to copy files back and forth. This allows me to connect the drive to either computer and carry all my files wherever i go.

Just about everything I buy from best buy works as expected including the last two terabytes drives I just bought. Bestbuy is my go to store for all my electronics. Bestbuy! Yeah!

Bought this to have a second back up data storage after losing our old faithful Seagate backup drive decided to dive and hit the hard surface of the floor. Had a reputable Data Recovery service finally recovered 99.1% of the data from the damaged Seagate. Now I have two similar new Data backup drive to maintain for all the files from our phones and several laptops.

Needed to back up my laptop and went with another WD hard drive. Been using them for years and they definitely have been reliable. USB 3.0 speeds up back up times and I am very pleased with the performance.
