Super easy setup. Using it as a system backup but plenty of space for a second hard drive or photo storage. Nicely built, quiet and easily transportable.

Bought this external drive as a backup for my wife's laptop. It works well and has good storage capacity.

I purchased the WD hard drive to have Best Buy bakup the files on 3 of my older computers.

This WD hard drive is a good value. Been using them for years. Unfortunately the WD backup software does not install on the laptop I backed up, unlike other hard drives in the past. WD was not helpful, giving me a long list of troubleshooting things to try. Thankfully there was a partner software also on this drive which worked first time. Now it is licensed for 5 years after which they may renew or charge a supplemental fee to renew.

Have use more than a year and very happy with it. Is fast and a lot of space. Use to back up documents and pictures.

I had a tune up on my computer. Geek Squad recommended I needed back for my files. The associate helping me went into the stock room to find this item. Good price, easy to back up files. Solves the problem.

Amazing hard drive easy to use and good quality with tons of space

I use this to backup my 2TB T7 Shield SSD. It is perfect for this task. Drive is speedy and reliable. The metal case is a quality nice touch.

Although this is comparable with Mac OS I realized that the setting up process it a bit tricky. There aren't really good instructions on how to set it up, but Geek squad can be very helpful with setup. It's wonderful for work storage.

I am very happy with this purchase; and would highly recommend it.
