This is the best hard drive I have purchased

I have two computers and the cable that comes with the drive lets me use it on both. The cable supports USB-C but comes with an adapter to use the older usb connection. So I can easily use this to backup, share files between the two computers I couldn't be happier

It runs a little faster than the on-board hard drive, so that’s nice. Setup is super easy and fast. I have both WD and Seagate products like this for my office as well. Have not had a single issue with any (knock on wood).

It worked flawlessly and transferred everything from my old Windows 7 computer to my replacement in just a few hours. My old computer died the very next day.

Allows you to download more games and transfer to you internal storage as needed. The benefit is that the transfer is much faster than downloading. Good alternative to downloading and un-installing.

Haven't found the included back up program yet, but haven't looked too hard. First WD product, the Toshiba I normally use have been on back order and needed something quick **still fairly new, so the review might change**
