I needed some storage but wanted a small package. This hard drive was exactly what I was looking for. It’s holding up so far so hopefully it’ll stay alive even from unplugging in a daily basis from travel.

I did some prior researching to purchasing this product. And came to the conclusion that this is the perfect one for me. I only needed it for some pictures and small documents. Works perfectly fine and is fast for me.

No need for anything more, it is simple and is easy to use.

You really can not go wrong with this portable hard drive. Great price for a lot of space.

This is a great large format external hard drive for making backups. I've got this set up for my Apple MacBook Pro Time Machine backup drive. I would recommend this to everyone if you are not looking to break the bank.

The WD drive is great, seems well built and comes with cable and adapter allowing it to connect to USB-C or legacy USB sockets. Out of the box format was NTSF but I changed to exFat to work read/write with PC and Mac platforms. Used it to record 16 tracks of 96k/24bit audio from a live concert on my USB-C equipped older laptop. No glitches at all. If only BB's purchase process were as trouble free. I'd ordered from my local store in Santee, CA for pickup, only to be told the one unit they showed in stock really wasn't there... but at least that notice came very quickly. So I transferred the order to the El Cajon store, which promptly ignored it for about 2 hours. I finally dropped in on my way home from work, only to be told there was a problem verifying my credit card. Not that store personnel were bothered to notify me of a problem; I'm sure that's much too difficult for them to handle. Trouble is, my card was already charged successfully at the original store so where's the holdup? Then they said I'd have to wait for someone to pull the product which I could SEE on the display 50' away, and then only after the credit card issue was cleared up. They had zero idea how long that might take. I told them to cancel the order and I'll go buy it off the shelf. To her credit the cashier I'd been speaking with came along to make sure I got the identical product. Then, at the register it was like magic! My credit card was accepted. The original payment was refunded within a short time. So what kind of amateur operation are you running? Telling me lies due to your inept customer service... BLOWN! Thanks El Cajon store for having the drive in stock, but not for much else.

Good faster external hard drive with a USB C connector. I've purchased these to replace some external SSD drives that just don't want to work well.

I wanted a large external to use as a gaming hard drive since my gaming laptop only has a 512gb SSD on it. This fills my needs perfectly. I am able to download all my games to this and bring on the go.

Perfect to use for backing up my mac. My other one I had was 12 years old and was starting to have issues. Great replacement.

4 TB for a little over $100. I remember far less storage capacity at slower speeds for $100,000. Storage is a commodity. I just wish it were a SSD of the same size at the same price or a little bit more.
