    For a 4TB portable storage, the price was competitive. Also, the use of USB-C connection is amazing! I've always had faulty/broken hard drives because the connection it used was flimsy. USB-C is extremely durable and reliable! A must for anyone who works with big projects on the go!

    Thunderbolt-3 and USB-C drives seem to be in short supply, but found this WD-My Passport Ultra 4TB drive to be just the ticket for doing a complete backup (clone) of my iMac prior to upgrading from Mojave to Catalina. I had to reformat the drive, which comes formatted for Windows, to HFS+ for Mac. That was painless, and easy. The backup, which is now bootable clone of the iMac, will allow me to fall back to Mojave should Catalina prove to be too buggy.

    Great for general storage would not reccomend gaming on it. If you want to game I would reccomend an ssd.
