Great storage device, but ...

However, I loaded the WD software that came with the device and immediately had problems with this and other disk drives, especially with Time Machine and an older RAID system that's been solid for years. Buy the device, but load the software at your own risk. I'll concede that there may have been cockpit problems on my part, but uninstalling the WD software as recommended in an article found on the web brought my system and drives back to normal.

I didn't want to rely on a cloud back up in case I lost internet connection. This drive has performed perfectly. I definitely recommend it.

Love my Passport

Finally got it working & then it stopped. Bought this Passport, plugged it in my computer & that was it. Works perfectly. I recommend it & if i ever need another, it would be another Passport.
