We recently embarked on a process of converting the physical photos into digital format and this portable hard drive is just the perfect tool for us. It has sufficient space to store all of our precious memory for a couple of generations and so we can free up space and increase the speed of our computers.

It is working great to back up with Time Machine.

It totally changed the way I work and store my precious files. my only compliant is that I waited so long to buy it. The storage capacity is so big - like wow big. This little guy just works!

It's much faster (data transfer rate) than my old 1TB My Passport from 7 years ago. I also love the compatibility with MacBook Big Sur Time Machine and the USB-C connection on both ends. That's why I came back to WD again for dependable hardware.

They provide a great service but when I am simply uploading or downloading my files I don't like to feel helpless since it is a simple task.
