This has been a great purchase. This is my second WD external hard drive, and it has helped my on my Mac as well as my business partners pc.

I am using this with my MacBook Pro. Great size and capacity. Easy to pack and take along. Price was good too.

I previously had an older WD Passport and it lasted me almost 10 years. It was able to carry music and files over through multiple OS systems. It recently stopped working so I purchased this one and it's been great so far. Easy connectivity, fairly quick back ups and a nice design. Works well with MacOS and WD has set a strong expectation from my previous experience that this will last a long time.

Purchased this drive for Mac “Time Machine” backups for my Mac Book Air with a small hard drive. I had purchased a WD 5 TB drive to backup all my data on Mac and Windows devices plus Dropbox data but found Time Machine won’t allow other data sources on the drive used for Mac backups. This is working fine for that purpose.

Just what I needed. Great product and easy to connect and use.

I use this for storing the music program downloads and the numerous songs I record. I am glad that the cable came with an adapter. I thought I had the Thunderbolt (type C USB) but I have the older model iMac. Still useful when you don't want to bog down the main drive. And it's WD quality!

This is my first time buying an external hard drive for my MacBook and it works great. It was so easy to back up my info on the Time Machine. I highly recommend this product

No issues, easy to set up. Good value (purchased on sale) for the cost - purchased as an extra storage space for my mac mini. The sleek design is nice and compact.

If you need extra storage look no further, I have to have a external driver when using my mac due to macs bad OS optimization taking up so much space. Do yourself a favor and get his product you wont be disappointed!
