Perfect and Compact

I used to have a chunky one that required access to power to use, so this is a lifesaver. Emphasis on the hard drive and not SSD. Remember to set your format before you start working and transferring files to/from it

Wht I need for backup and addiional storage

My wife has an external one for her Windows computer, recommended by Geek Squad & backed up by them when we had her computer in for service. So since I now have a MacBook Ai, and only have 256 GB storage, I backed up my iPod Touch to it & it usedup some 40 GB storage. So I figure I need more storage plus I want the backup, so I bought this one. Gonna need it ofr the other Apple products I have as well. Should do well.
