Western Digital does it right! With it's rugged and sleak design and more storage space than it's competitors, it really is the best! I love this hard drive. I'm utilizing it now to store my excess PS5 games and will in the future by the WD black SSD internal hard drive for more readily accessible games. But, for a qulality hard drive that won't break the bank you can't go wrong with this one.

Really glad I found this on sale! Totally worth the price investment. I've loaded up nearly 100 games on to the drive so far and barely used half the storage total (still 2.4 TB free). Transferring between WD-Black and the XSX main SSD are solidly in the right timeframe to not be an issue. I keep my primary games that I play everyday on the SSD and hold the HDD for overflow storage and move back and forth as needed instead of needing to re-download. Overall great deal, so go for it!

Purchased this item for gaming purposes, absolutely no complaints. Would definitely recommend if you're facing storage issues and dont want to sacrifice performance for storage.

Works well with Playstation 5 very easy to set up as it gives instructions on how to use for many systems and im able to hold many games on my concle and it doesn't seem to have heating issues

Usually purchase the My Passport drive, was out of stock so I chose this one. Seems faster, maybe only because I expected it to be so. WD always gets the job done. Not sure if it's worth the extra $30, but I was lucky to get it on sale.

Out from the box, WD Black USB3 hard drive has no OEM files on it. 4.5TB usable space when formatted on Xbox One.

They are great for extra storage reliable and sudo fast depending on what your using it for. NVME is always the winner but this is great for storage renpy games or even low graphics games. Decent for media, and finally just a great product to store extra games media and the like. Solid product this is my fifth one over many years and only one has ever failed and took quite a lot of years to do so.

Quick and easy setup. Plug and play. Fast transfer speeds with an Intel i-9 processor. Just bought my second one and now am getting a third. I am using Western Digital drives that are ten years old, they just don't have the capacity that we now need. Storage needs have increased. WD_BLACK is an easy way to backup multiple computers and their files. WD has a reputation for equipment that lasts forever. Highly recommend WD_BLACK.
