I bought this specifically for use with my PS5. It works perfectly. You can only download PS4 games and save files but that is what I purchased it for. I have a huge library of PS4 games and they all run perfectly. I actually had issues with PS4 saves using the SSD in the PS5. I have had no issues with saves or data for all my games on the the external drive. You don’t need an SSD so save some money. You cannot save PS5 games on this but runs PS4 games great.

This was a great purchase. I have lots of space, the performance is quick and works smooth. I can finally, continue working on my game I've been developing using my game council and PC. *Recommend.

I tried to use other hard drives to connect to my phone, but they didn't work. This one worked perfectly with my phone, and I got another one for my Playstation 4. Works perfect

I love this little storage harddrive, idk why but i think they are so fascinating and convienent, you can store tons of stuff on them and take them with you wherever you go and edit them on any computer or phone, and this one looks awesome. Mobile secure data, clandestine spy age stuff thats like becoming extinct due to new texhnology and things such as micro sd cards, but these MD Black storages have their own little nooks and survive on, can transport them and use them to play on any xbox or ps4, taking your whole game library to any of uour friends house without all the weighted hassle. Awesome!

Super fast and great memory, small package alot of punch

Picked this up for my daughter for her laptop. It was plug and play easy to install and helped tremendously with the low free space on her internal SSD. The expansion is great and it was a great deal on sale but she states it is noticeably slower to load any game (steam) that she's moved to that drive. Once they load there is no difference though.

Best external hard drive money can buy. This model may not be the cheapest but it much more durable and the ease of use will put your mind at ease. I bought this for my PS4 pro and it is worth it! Highly recommended.

This is an incredibly fast hdd for an external. I'm blown away, it has become my extra game /rom drive but it worked well as my main gaming drive, ran ac Valhalla with very little lag. And it was a super good deal! Thanks best buy!

I've had this drive for over a year. I use it for my PC emulators. Works well. It can be a bit slow at times but what did you expect from a 5400 RPM HDD? I could fit my current Steam library on this drive (1.5 TB) and still have room for more games. Here's my benchmark test if anyone's interested.

Can't beat it for an external holding storage for large games for Xbox series X. I can play non demanding games with ease off the drive directly. I also just store high end games i don't play often here instead of taking up precious space on internal drive of Xbox.

This is connected to a PC and is used for my Steam drive games. Performance is excellent and I can't really tell any difference between using my SSD 1GB drive and this. I'm happy with this purchase as it's plenty of space to retain my steam games and small enough to take with me anywhere to play Steam games.

It works wonders on both a PC and a PS, the transfer speed is incredible and it is very shock resistant.

I thought this was Fast, but at only 140mbps, it's not lighting fast.. It might be so some but a 3.76GB 4k video takes 90 seconds to download or transfer. It's compact and will do the job, but if you want Faster results, you gotta pay $700+.

I purchase this to go with my Xbox Series S. I was easy to connect and has a lot of space. It moves games from my Xbox Series S to external hard drive very quick. I also use it to play Xbox one, Xbox 360 and orginal Xbox games with no problems. this allows me to save space on the Xbox Series S to play games. This is must buy for Xbox Series S/X systems

Currently using with my Ps5 and have had not 1 issue with it .I have my favorite ps4 games on it seeing as ps5 games can only go on the internal SSD as of this writing .I did have to turn on the power to the USB ports in the back in settings just putting that out there maybe it was just a bug for my console before the first 2 updates at the time .

I purchased two of these and they are super fast and definitely are great for games and regular use. My first drive is for my ps5 but sadly only works with ps4 games and the other holds all my photos for my photography and so far they have both held up.

I have several, i use them for my Playstation and a few for my pc as mobile storage, have them to store the different files for my laser cutter, for 3d printing and for my silhouette vinal cutter.

Nice 5TB portable hard drive. I bought this when on sale. It has been working with my PC without issue. I like how it looks and sits on some rubber feet with wide stance so it doesn't slip around like some others. It has great read/write speed when using USB 3.2. I recommend getting this one!

Storage capacity for the price is perfect. Drive is fast and works great.
