Can't beat it for an external holding storage for large games for Xbox series X. I can play non demanding games with ease off the drive directly. I also just store high end games i don't play often here instead of taking up precious space on internal drive of Xbox.

Picked this up for my daughter for her laptop. It was plug and play easy to install and helped tremendously with the low free space on her internal SSD. The expansion is great and it was a great deal on sale but she states it is noticeably slower to load any game (steam) that she's moved to that drive. Once they load there is no difference though.

It works wonders on both a PC and a PS, the transfer speed is incredible and it is very shock resistant.

Currently using with my Ps5 and have had not 1 issue with it .I have my favorite ps4 games on it seeing as ps5 games can only go on the internal SSD as of this writing .I did have to turn on the power to the USB ports in the back in settings just putting that out there maybe it was just a bug for my console before the first 2 updates at the time .

I thought this was Fast, but at only 140mbps, it's not lighting fast.. It might be so some but a 3.76GB 4k video takes 90 seconds to download or transfer. It's compact and will do the job, but if you want Faster results, you gotta pay $700+.

I purchase this to go with my Xbox Series S. I was easy to connect and has a lot of space. It moves games from my Xbox Series S to external hard drive very quick. I also use it to play Xbox one, Xbox 360 and orginal Xbox games with no problems. this allows me to save space on the Xbox Series S to play games. This is must buy for Xbox Series S/X systems

Fast and easy to use. However, I don't like having to use a third party program to set up an automatic back up schedule.

Nice 5TB portable hard drive. I bought this when on sale. It has been working with my PC without issue. I like how it looks and sits on some rubber feet with wide stance so it doesn't slip around like some others. It has great read/write speed when using USB 3.2. I recommend getting this one!

I purchased two of these and they are super fast and definitely are great for games and regular use. My first drive is for my ps5 but sadly only works with ps4 games and the other holds all my photos for my photography and so far they have both held up.

this item has been very helpful. the new PS5 has pretty limited internal data. and im playing alot of the previous 4th gen games which quickly capped it out. so having this unit for those titles has allowed me to continue doing so while saving room on the machine for 5th gen games. internal and portable SSD are very expensive so this is a very cost affective option by comparison

Storage capacity for the price is perfect. Drive is fast and works great.

This is a very good 5 TB Western Digital WD external portable hard drive. I have used a smaller size of such HDD in the past few years but this one is large enough to hold more files than other models.

Fantastic device. I'm using it with a PS5 and I had nearly 400 GB of PS4 games on it. It took less than 15 minutes to set up, format, and move my PS4 games over to the HD. A must-have for anyone with a deep PS4 catalog, or of you want to store the 20+ PS Plus collection games. Super smooth play (and quick loading) from the SSD.

I have several, i use them for my Playstation and a few for my pc as mobile storage, have them to store the different files for my laser cutter, for 3d printing and for my silhouette vinal cutter.

Seems to work great for the PS5. Plug and play. Installation and formatting is super easy. Freed up a ton of room internally. I should have purchased the 2 TB. Also bought a 5TB external hard drive to transfer the PS4 games onto.

This drive is extremely easy to use and comes with speed in mind. The only downside is that it requires an external power source like a usb powered hub.

Decent write speeds for documents. A bit slow for raw video files. I like the portability of the drive.
