If your on a new Mac book pro you will have to buy a separate cable to work with the usb c input on your laptop. If your on a pc you will be fine.

Come to find out with this hard drive attached to a PlayStation 5 you are unable to save PlayStation 5 games to the hard drive but only then save and copy back to your PlayStation 5 original storage unit to play again which in my opiniom is stuipd id want a hard drive to hold everything to be available to me instantly. This will be returned.
