    We bought this to store video for surveillance recording. Our old system was only able to go back 2 weeks, this one has stored everything for the last month. Works well, stores so much and for the cost, cant beat it!!!

    I used this 4tb drive to replace a WD Purple 1tb drive that came with my Samsung / Wisenet camera DVR. I have 8 1080p cameras recording 24/7 and with the 1tb drive I would get about 4-5 days depending on activity. So far I am over 2 weeks and it is still not full. Working as expected and switching the drive out was pretty simple.

Several employees in other departments told us incorrect information, but the 2 gentlemen from the home security audio/visual department were a huge help and directed us to the correct item that we needed.
