I housed it in a DAS with 3 Seagate drives. It's noiser than my other drives but the noise is still minimal.

It was easy to install and transfer all my files. good warranty as well. I would not be afraid to use this for any application, other than a gaming or OS drive.

It replaces a WD Red that was smaller in my small WD server. Since it replaced a drive of a different size, I had to replace both drives. (Wasn't expecting that.) But they've been working just fine.

It as fast as some of my other 7200 rpm enterprise drives. Good for backups and cold storage of media file. Does its job. Stores data.

The previous 4 tb drives where 5400 rpm these are 7200 and louder. I've had to put the drive to sleep at night due to the noise.
