ZFS was able to resilver the mirror with no problem, and it's been running without any issues now for about 6 weeks!

Didn't immediately open and install it so the short 15 day return period has already passed. Best Buy says to replace it through warranty with the manufacturer. WD notes they send out recertified (used, failed, repaired) drives for RMA. Paid full price for a brand new product and now going to end up with one that has already failed once.

Bought this to replace 1 month old white label that died running a parity check. 2 of those white label died fast. glad the price have come down on the reds.

Two small air pillows in a large box with the product bouncing around all in the empty space. Mechanical drives are very fragile and need to be packed where they don't shift around.
