    The specs were a little bit off, I decided to take a leap of faith that it would be the latest WD 14TB Red Plus drives. They were, the model that reports it being a 7200RPM drive, I ordered 4 drives all 4 drives were the same model numbers. I was very happy with the purchase. I purchased them to replace 6-7 year old 4TB Seagate NAS drives. Speed is comparable to the drives I replaced. They are in a NAS in the basement, and if I go down and listen closely while I am doing a large copy, I can sometimes hear them make some noise, but not like some comments I read. Again, it is in a Basement setting within a NAS as these drives were designed for. One issue I wasn't expecting was the Hard Drive cages didn't have screws for the back and front, but for the back and middle. These larger NAS drives don't have the middle screws, I used them with only 2 screws that fit installed, and so far I have had no issues.

    Great NAS HDD! I’m using this 14TB HDD in my Windows 10 PLEX/Gaming Server for storing all my BluRay movies etc. on. Well there’s actually only 12.7TB of available space on this “14TB” HDD, but I guess that’s to be expected. I’ve never had an issue with Western Digital products and these WD RED PLUS HDDs seem very well built. Working perfectly so far. Very fast read/write speeds for HDDs. Highly recommended.

    Wouldn't spin up properly. Weird whining. Wouldn't work. Replacement totally fine. Works great so far in my NAS.

    Works great for NAS these are 7200RPM not 5400RPM, less noisy that Pro version.

    Works great. A bit of an issue formatting in windows, but that's a windows issue - not a WD issue.. Time will tell if it's reliable, but works great for now!!
