I got 2 of those for my Nas drive. I have them for almost a year now. The work great. I believe those drive are the best if you have a Nas.

These drives run quiet and cool. I have the 4TB & 3TB versions in a NAS enclosure and haven't given me issues yet. For comparison my desktop has a WD Black drive that runs much louder than these drives. If you're only looking for a hard drive for your desktop I'd save money and go for a WD Blue or Black, but since I'm running three of these in a compact NAS enclosure running 24/7 I opted for the WD Red hard drives.

Bought a couple of these drives to use in a RAID1 enclosure for data backup in a NAS. Drives are powered 24/7 and are working well so far. Expecting many years of error free operation. Would highly recommend WD Red drives for a NAS build.

Set these up in a Synology NAS, works fine. No problems so far.

So far so good. Works perfectly in my Drobo 5N. Massive storage space

I have a Drobo 5N, populated with 3 WD Red 3 TB drives, and 2 WD Red 2 TB drives. I feel that the WD Red series drive is the overall best drive for this device, and I recommend them without reservation.

Using 4 of hem for my synology nas. It has been up and running for 2 months now and so far so good.

Bought these bare drives for use in my Synology NAS system to replace older functioning hard drives and they seem to run quieter, quicker and were a great buy!

Thus far, this drive has performed perfectly. I have two of them in a RAID configuration in my NAS and both are performing flawlessly.

I brought 2 of these drives for my NAS and a 3rd as a backup. My NAS sits on my desk and the drives are soooooo quiet!

I have had these drives running 24/7 in my NAS for about a month now and I almost forget that I bought them because they have operated so smoothly and without any issues. Of course we won't know how good these drives truly are until a few more years of use hopefully.

Selected these for two reasons 1 Quality and Best Buy had the best price overall win win for me

The WD Reds are perfect for NAS use. They are not the fastest drives out there (5400) but that helps with their reliability. They should be just like the Energizer Bunny....they keep going and going and going and (you get the point!)

I have been a WD customer for years and WD never let me down.
