Always had great luck with WD Hard Drives. Red and Blue. My first choice for my media needs.

I am working to operate the automation system in a warehouse where automation equipment has been completed.
I purchased the hard drive to be used as a backup server in the automation system and it is working very well. There is no noise either.

I purchased 2 of these in October 2024. For the last week or so, I noticed that the one in Bay 1 is now showing a solid red light instead of the usual solid blue light. I'm not really sure what the issue is but until I can take it to Geek Squad at Best Buy, I'm purchasing a replacement.

High fail rate usually 4years just before the warranty expires at 3 years better buy a pro or ultrastar

Purchased to replace an existing 2T RAID 1 array, in which one of the drives is starting to show errors (after more than 86,000 hours in operation). I have had very good luck with WD Red drives in this server application.
