I have a small RAID using two pair of mirrored disks connected to an iMac for TimeMachine backups. So far these disks have performed well. My software shows no flags or slowdowns caused by the mirroring. And the hourly backups are all up to date. They meet my needs. I put them in service in mid November 2021.

I had a drive failure on my NAS with RAID that was storing my wife's photos. Luckily, my local BB had this drive in stock so I could immediately rebuild the drive. These drives are excellent and come highly recommended for NAS drives.

Needed a drive to address a failing NAS unit drive, this did the trick and is still functioning so far... Wished that is had a longer warranty as I hope this will last as long as the other drives that I have used in the past (usually 5-6 years). Guess we'll find out... Not too bad of a price considering that I needed it one really quick, glad Best Buy had it in stock for immediate pickup.

The NAS drive for you. This purchase is my 3rd one of this particular drive vintage. I currently have about 40tb of total storage. Including the other 2, 32 of that is this particular drive on a TNAS F220 NAS drive.

Bought this for a NAS I’m building as a Home media center so I can store my movies and files. So far so good no issues with it yet. I’ll follow it up in a few months to see it’s holding up.

I have had nothing but success with Western Digital drives and that continues with the WD Red Plus. This drive is serving as primary storage in a Synology NAS for a Plex Server and it's doing a fine job. Highly recommended.

Had been using WD products for my NAS for over 5 years now. They are still reliable but don't expect them to last forever. I always try to make 2 or 3 back-up copies of my files that are important.

Very fast drive and a great price for 8tb of storage. I had an external drive that was starting to clunk and fail SMART tests. This popped right in and was super easy to use and did i mention FAST.

    GREAT HARD DRIVE FOR NAS

Purchased a WD NAS system a few years ago with two 8TB Red Hard Drives. One finally went bad and exact match is no longer made by WD so I purchased two new WD Red Plus drives from Best Buy and they work great. Love these hard drives and the NAS system. I use RAID 1 in which one hard drive mirrors the other. Thus, redundancy ensures I do not lose my material as the odds of two drives going bad at once are very slim. Here is a tip for you. Using RAID 1 in this NAS system, the two hard drives must be exactly the same, i.e. same specs. They must be "compatible" to show "good" on the NAS system.

Using this drive for a PLEX media server and has been the best addition to the stack. All new movies go on here and serve up with no issues at all. LOVE using it!

Excellent experience with the WD Red for NAS. Usually change out at 45-50k hours so do not know if they will last 100K hours. Good performance at a reasonable cost.
