Great NAS Drive!

Run hotter but work well

The drives work well and allows me to hoard my stuff. They do run hotter than my older Ironwolf drives so I had to set my NAS fans to high. If it weren't for the heat these would be 5 stars.

I only use it as a storage drive for backup files, so it only sees about an hour a month usage. It’s quiet and it writes at the published speed. The price was right and I didn’t have to go online to UNLOCK it, which I personally believe is ridiculous and just another excuse to grab your email address. The thing about doing these reviews is that they’re usually written within a couple of weeks of purchase. ANY hard drive should last that long!!! So what can you really say?
