Great Product but be aware of the PWL...lol

Just a little disappointed when it registered less than 13TB @ 12.73TB but I get it. Also it took me several weeks to figure out why there was a new noise / thump coming from my server. This is because of a technology these drives have to keep the disks lubricated. It is called Preventive Wear Leveling. And I wanted to make sure to put a review on here for people can know and expect this instead of thinking they have a defective drive.

Have this setup in a mirrored raid and it performs well with 200+ mb/s transfer. Use it for my media storage and it has been very reliable

Ordered a replacement and the same thing. This is the last time I buy a hard drive from Best Buy
