Great movie lots of action especially the price of a Blu-ray can't beat that!!!

Mel is a great director and sometimes his mouth keeps people away.

Sam Elliot gives a wonderful portrayal of a non-com at the start of this war. The blu ray is sharpened the sound is powerful with the 5.1 Dolby pounding the walls of your room.

The setting in the Vietnam war made leaders in the movie really stick out. It is a representation of what the war was like along with evidence of the struggle. I would recommend this movie to everyone.

The action sequences are just outstanding ... the blood and gore is not overly done ... and the back and forth between the US troops and the North Vietnamese troops adds to the suspense.

Excellent movie. Bought back a lot of memories because many of the scenes were shot on Fort Benning and I had the pleasure of being station there for a few years as a young Soldier.

This a good movie about the first major action in Vietnam between US Army Forces and the North Vietnamese. It follows the book very well until the end, when they stray from the actual facts and has a fictional ending to the battle.

Great work out for your surround sound and TV, this movie has all the elements of a good war movie with excellent actors. This is a staple for me!

One of the better war films to be released and if anyone knows how to make them it is Mel Gibson (even if his outside life is less than spectacular).

This Vietnam war movie describes the first major battle involving US Army troops and North Vietnamese forces. While this movie depicts the battle it does deviate from the actual facts of the end of the battle. It is still a good movie regarding the Vietnam War
