We used it for our camper and was not satisfied. This item works out in the open but would not recommend for camping in the woods. Very pricey!

From zero to two bars on Verizon

This worked on a regular 5 hr commute thru zero bars, no phone call or text territory for us on verizon. Even tho it showed we were roaming and had 5 bars thru this area, nothing was possible til we got to a large city. It gave us 2 bars!
draw backs- the signal given off by inside antenna was carried to a very small radius. Had to place my phone about 5 inches away from the inside one-directional antenna that was placed by the radio on my dash and use speaker and squinting, lol. There are no indications which side of the antenna is the one that needs to be facing outward either but I guess it doesn't matter since it gave us a signal. If I drew the phone to my face about 12 inches away no signal. Over all very happy with this.

We have a tin roof and zero bars inside our house. Installed this product and we now get four bars. Read many other reviews with some negative. Pay attention to the distance between the internal and external antennas. Also make sure the antennas are facing the opposite direction and not towards each other. I made this mistake and got frustrated. Once I fixed this mistake I went from two bars to four bars! We cannot get reasonable Wifi service in our country home and this fixed our problem and can now use hotspots with our iPhones to get WiFi to other devices. If you struggle with a cell signal but can get a signal outside, this is very much worth the money and we will recapture our cost in time due to being able to cancel the in home phone service and use only our cells. Very easy to install, just be careful on your roof and ladders.
