Great solution for poor cell service

We live in a remote area in Indiana where cell service is sketchy at best. We have to walk around the house or sometimes have to go outside to answer calls. We also use Hughes net satellite for internet which was not very good either. I installed the Weboost and now have 3-4 bars of 4g. If I turn on my cell phone as a hotspot it is faster than the Hughes net. I got rid of Hughes net and got a broadband card from Verizon and now have great internet. Enough that I can even stream movies if I wanted to.

Works well in our rural area with our metal roof

We bought one of these three months ago to boost the signal in our metal roof home. It works very well in the living room area but doesn't work on the other end of the house by the bedrooms. We bought this as a second one to use on the other end of the house. They seem to interfere with each other if they are both on and we are usually only in need of one at a time, so we just turn off the one not needed. So far, we are happy to have better cell reception and can confidently discontinue our landline phone and can stream shows without lags.

My home has a lot of windows The outdoor unit cannot be visually close to indoor unit Since I have a lot of windows and since the optimal place to put the antenna was just outside a window it greatly limited where I could place the indoor unit Also it claims that the signal goes thru walls of the home I did not find that to be true So it only worked on one part of my house That being said I was very happy to be able to make phone calls that were clear and I got one more signal bar If I sat next to the indoor unit So to me it was worth the work of installing it and worth the money

It helped some in this remote area, but did not really solve our problem. The technical support desk did help to set up the antennas as well as we could.

Fairly easy to setup. Was skeptical, but it actually improved service. Both ends say we have better voice quality. A little pricey but we were desperate.

Works exactly as intended. Great idea for those of us that can only barely get a signal and drop calls if your not in wifi range. I would like to let the developer know that they should have some kind of battery back up system on this device for a power outage situations. Because that would be more than half of the time. Where is this device come in handy for me Also would be good for people to know in large print in the description somewhere that depending on your cellular or carrier, signal strength to begin with depends on what size area the booster will cover so if your signal is very poor, like mine the booster device will only cover a medium sized room or small room, the better reception service you start with the larger area the booster will cover, but if you have a good reception even a bar or two, it’s probably better not to have it. This device is primarily for those of us who go from having one signal bar to nothing on and off

Works excellent for rural areas set up was pretty easy you will need to buy some protection for the coaxial outside connections to keep possible water out the line make sure it’s the kind that does not block signal

Did an good job boasting signals that were already usable. Slightly less helpful for signal that wasn't useful. Did little to improve ping - might have showed it down. Lastly, it is only good wireless. I wish it had a connection point to connect a mobile-router or hotspot directly.

Wow this cell booster from WeBoost is the ticket! We had only two bars in our house and now we have 4 to 5 bars and 5G!!! We placed our booster on our roof and the the amplifier inside. We chose to have it professionally installed. You could do it your self. Our WeBoost is made by Wilson Electronics and is the Home Multiroom $549. Worth every Penny.

Our location is in the Columbia Gorge with a high cliff across the river. Verizon was the only carrier that would work, and only marginally (usually one bar). There was only one place you could sit or stand that would work, and if the weather was bad, you had to stand outside on the deck. If my husband had to make an important call, he would have to drive three miles down the road where his signal would improve enough not to drop the call. We bought the high-end model of the weBoost because it will work with any cell carrier. Also, we wanted to give it the best possibility to work for us. You need to be able to point the antenna toward a "nearby" cell tower. There are several ways to do this. We ended up using a fairly low tech satellite map that worked great, but you would get more precision using a different technique. My husband's Verizon signal is now usually four bars, at least two in nasty weather. I was able to get an inexpensive service (Mint) that works on T-Mobile network for me and two of my teenage children, so it will save us money in the long run. We get four bars inside the house. And you can use the phone with a good signal anywhere in the house. Such a little thing has been a life changer. We wish we had done this a decade ago.

I now have 5 bars on my phone while sitting in my living room. Living in a rural area is nice but not when it comes to electronic equipment. I no longer have to take calls to the outside of my home or call someone back due to poor connection. No dropped calls since installing in early December 2021.

Not making difference for my bad service

Installation: Took me a while to set this up since I had no mounts on the roof itself and all existing pipes were on bad location. I purchased antenna mount and installed it on top of my attached garage. Must say installation was not easy for me since I am very bad climber but I got it done quickly after lots of shaking and sweating. Setup: Setting up this product was very easy, really just a plug and play. I used "OpenSignal" app to determine location of nearest T-Mobile tower and positioned my antenna toward that tower. You might need to go 10 degrees to right or to the left and after each changed position you should powercycle your booster Performance: Honestly I don't see much difference when it comes to my cellphone service. My speed test results for data are same as before, web sites and videos still loading slow, people are still complaining about quality of the calls but my signal bar indicator shows more lines - not sure how accurate that it since both of our IPhones are not opening Field Test menu. Since I had no dropped calls before or after installing booster there is no compering in that area. Overview: I was honestly expecting more from this device but I can't tell how far the closest T-Mobile tower is since my reception and data services are bad in wide neighborhood area - so maybe I am just way too far to get improvement? Reminder: Do not forget to register your cellphone booster, its required by FCC and even by your network provider.

I just got the Weboost Home Cellphone booster this past week. I was extremely nervous about it due to the cost and the mixed reviews. I live in rule Central SE MS. The closest AT&T cell tower is about 9 miles away that I’m aware of and I get one LTE bar in my place. Outside it ranges from one bar to two bars “5G” depending where i am on the street I live on. The speed was around 1-2 mbps laying in bed which is the only place in the house that would get a signal. I received the booster and unboxed it. Read the directions and easily set it up. Its not hard at all. The worse part is its not professionally done so there is coaxial cable running through the house. It took me all of 30 minutes. I pointed the outside antenna in the “direction” of the nearest tower I know of. Now I’m getting two bars “5G” in the house. Sometimes it switches to 3 bars of LTE but not long. I put quotation marks around “5G”, because i don't think its true 5G. Its only getting about 10-12 mbps but is much better than i hoped for. For me this was a great purchase and is worth the money.

We live out in the sticks in a hilly region, right in the sweet spot between towers where there's a black hole in coverage. This was the solution to get cell coverage into our home. Coverage went from literally zero service to semi-consistent LTE (I'll take it!). That being said, it took a lot of planning to get there. I used a website and app called Cellmapper to find and map out where my nearest tower was (website to look at the map, and the app and some time driving around to pinpoint things). Once I knew where the towers were, I installed the antennas and fired it up. The outside antenna MUST be pointing exactly in the direction of the nearest tower or it won't work. It's also important to know - the booster will broadcast the incoming signal with similar strength. So if you have a low signal outside, it will broadcast an amplified but low signal inside. This will affect the effective range of the inside antenna. In my case, the incoming signal is weak, but it's there. My inside antenna will amplify that same weak signal - so I have LTE when standing nearby the inside antenna, but I lose it when I walk out of that room. If I had a stronger incoming signal, I'm sure I could maintain that amplified signal in other rooms of the house.

I really wish I could give this 10 stars. I went from having a very weak signal at my house and being unable to even search for anything on the web to being able to stream movies from Prime and Netflix. Easy to install. So happy with this device.

When Levi, our Best Buy Geek arrived, we all checked our phones and they were all 1/2 bar on the old 3 G booster. After installation and moving the antenna around, the best reception was 3 bars for all of us on different makes of phone. It is nice to be able to download pictures without driving to the nearest highway. I have noticed that I am also using fewer G on our internet service. We are pleased!

I works better than I thought it would. The only thing I don't like about it is your signal go's in and out sometimes. Over all it does a good job. I have never had 5G before on this phone it will get me 5G every now and then.
