Boosts but Tough to Install

Unfortunately I wasn’t a fan of coaxial cables in the 90’s and I’m still not. I have had such conflict with myself because the cables are a mess, fussy, and not easy or discrete for hiding in the home. There are definitely clips and ways to mail the wire to the wall but it became more of a hassle trying to figure out where to drill a hole in my home from the interior to the exterior.
In the box there are less than 10 items so I thought this would be easy but I had to get someone to consult on where to add this eye sore and if there was a true way to incorporate this in my home design.
Functionality is great and it certainly boosts signal significantly. After the hours and days of fear of ruining my home’s wall and committing to the placing. I decided on a corner of my kitchen since I could hide the black box by the wall and an unused outlet.
In 2021 home design means any electronics that come in to a home are also chosen because of their design aesthetic. I thought this would be seamless and easy.
It was not and for that I can say that if you’re going to put yourself through the headache of the install you’re going to yield some strong signal.
Be ready to potentially purchase more coaxial cable, after tucking and running the cable from the roof to the small boost box it was very close to not having enough wire.

Drastically better cell reception in a tin can!

I am renovating a cargo trailer into a video game trailer for parties and with the door shut, it’s basically impossible to get any kind of cell or Wi-Fi signal.
While this doesn’t help with the Wi-Fi, it made a drastically better difference for cell reception! I now get a full 5 bars of LTE and it works pretty great, even better than when I used to step outside and just use the regular towers.
Setup was dead simple, although I haven’t installed it onto a pole like they suggest. I’ll do that later as it came with all of the mounting hardware. It’s also supposed to be able to do 5G, but we don’t have that available in my area, so I can’t test it.
All-in-all, it works better than I expected and I’m happy with it.

Works great, even without optimal placement. Installation was easy, doesnt provide any way to attach the cable to anything. Would buy again. Speeds went from 1mb to 20mb. I feel its overly priced but worth it.

Requires outside installation

This cell signal booster works pretty well, but I didn't fully understand the extent of outside work required. The packaging does not explain this adequately. Granted, there was a gigantic Best Buy squ sticker covering 4" x 5" of the box, which may have had more explanations. But you need to mount a big antenna on an outside pole or strucuture, then run a cable into your house. This is difficult in my situation- a rental property, I can't just erect a pole on the roof as the instructions suggest. Also I can't just drill a hole thru the wall, and don't want to leave a window cracked. I wish this had been clearly explained on the package. But it does work pretty well, once it is installed. The included hardware is good for attaching to whatever structure is available.

Easy to install and affordable. We were able to increase our cell signal by at least two bars- from one or two to three or four. We can even download data pretty consistently. We installed this at our mountain cottage where we could previously only get a cell signal if the phone was placed in the window sill. We can now walk throughout the cottage while talking on the phone. Very pleased.

My wife and I frequently camp in areas that have very poor cell phone coverage. This last camping trip was the one that "broke the camel's back". We decided to try the "weBoost -Home Studio Phone Signal Booster". Where we were located we had one bar cell service outside the RV; inside zero or occasionally one (short lived). The weBoost system was easy to set up. The signal from the external antenna is carried to the inside amplifier via an RG-6 cable - the same type cable that satellite or cable TV services enters the RV - so there was no concern about having to drill a hole in the RV to get the signal inside: just hook the cable from the outside antenna to the "satellite" or "cable" port on the outside of the RV, then connect the inside cable that goes to the amplifier to the corresponding port inside the RV and you are finished with the installation. Follow the very simple instructions for aiming the outside antenna TOWARD the signal source (tower) and the system is ready to operate. Note: my inside signal went from basically none before installation to two solid bars, three part of the time after installation. I went from being barely able to talk on the phone inside the RV to having a solid connection for talking and could even browse the internet comfortably. An additional NOTE: There MUST be some signal available on the outside for the system to amplify (the system cannot generate a signal, it MUST have something to amplify for it to work).

This one has always worked good but they are highly prone to lightning struck from the outside antenna, we tried upgrading to the multi room,no luck it would not work for anything even after moving it and antenna, so we went back to "old faithful" this little fella here

I can’t say enough good things about this product and would give it 10 stars if I could. We live-stream sporting events and couldn’t get good service in buildings with our WiFi device. Tonight with the weBoost, we had perfect streaming during a thunderstorm. The set up was so easy. All we did was plug it up and put the antenna outside. Wonderful product!!

Works as expected, mediocre. Boosts from 3 bars to 4 barson phone. Home internet is boosted from 3 bars to 5(full strength). Followed app for tower positioning and it kept moving. I live 1.5 miles from closest tower for my provider. Best buy did a good job with description on their website.

Works like a charm! Very easy to set up and results are well worth it. We installed at our cabin in northern NH. Reception is pretty good outside but the metal roof was blocking the signal. This does the trick!

We use this to boost cell signal while out in our camper. Like any sidgnal booster you have to have at least a weak signal to boost. Its been a help in remote areas to be able to check email ect.

After some adjustments on direction of my nearest cell tower I finally tuned in and got a decent signal. I may eventually move the antenna to a higher pole to get past some higher trees to improve my signal to a strong 4g signal, no 5g available at this time in my area.

I was looking for a device to boost our cell signal while camping. I picked out a few that i thought would do the trick and called Tech. Support. He talked me through the options and helped me make a selection. I couldn't be happier with the setup. We have returned to campgrounds that were in very bad locations and were surprised to get decent signal strength with the antenna up.
I bought a 40' telescoping mast (from Ama-you-know-who) and created 3 sets of guide wires from paracord and tent stakes. It's held up extremely well to wind and tree limbs.
