Not a tech guru but...

Each time my antivirus is about to expire, Webroot always sends me an alert to renew now. Since the Best Buy price is usually cheapest, I do a digital download and apply it to the Webroot website. Webroot checks to make sure I am safe from malware daily.

I don't do anything on my laptop that would lead to security breaches, but it seems to work great!

Best Antivirus Protection

The ease of purchasing a code and getting the protection you need is unbeatable. Best Buy gave me a price I could not refuse. ALWAYS SHOP Best Buy first for deals before paying for auto renewals on this type of product!

Webroot versus Total AV

I can rate it on "ease of use". I tried Total AV and it did eliminate ads but it was tough to figure out for a novice. Webroot is easy to run, understand and set-up.

This product does not slow down the computer, it's always checking websites for all types possible interferences. It's very easy to use- can work automatically or you can scan manually which I suggest doing at least once a month or every couple of months depending on computer useage.
