    I had Norton security which came with my cable package. The Geek Squad installer recommended Webroot as a superior internet package for my new Mac.

    My wife's Macbook was running Kapersky until whatever new version of Mac OS ("Great White Flaming Wolverine" or something similar I'm sure) made it go "Kaputsky". Geeksquad spent tons of time on it and determined that Kapersky isn't even sure if they support that version of the OS. So, they recommended Webroot. It's been working fine for many months now.

    This internet security protection was an add on I received when I purchased my macbook. It is pretty easy to understand, and it is doing a good job scanning my computer regularly.

    I received this software free for 6 months from BestBuy when I bought my computer so I wasn't sure I even needed it but after getting it I'm glad I have it because it tells me when something I've clicked on is suspicious or a threat to my computer and it helped me delete malware that got on my computer by just clicking on a picture on the Internet. Since I spent so much on my computer I would be stupid to not keep it safe.

    Well you need security these days and I tried this since it came with the laptop. Seems to be pretty secure and has stopped some thing my previous software didn't. So that's good. I might just buy when free trial is up. Rated 1 star lower because of occasional pop ups to buy.
