Webroot Antivirus by Best Buy

This is a fairly good tool to achieve that goal. It looks for bad programs, it isolates them and offers you options. It does the job, but isn't totally perfect. It works for what you want it to do, but keep your os system updated also. You might actually enjoy a full year of protection, but the rent is due every year, so consider if you like it $50 @ year. If so, I say you will like it.

Excellent low resource anti-virus program

It's also super light weight (sales guy told me 1 MB). Installation is speedy, which is no surprise when the package is so lightweight that there's almost nothing to do. Webroot doesn't mind if you have another antivirus installed, either. Overall very satisfied with this product.

It's very easy to install. The price was very good for the amount of features that I received. The most useful element was the firewall that came with the product. However since I had this item previously, Geek squad kept sending me communications to renew my subscription for more charges. They also kept sending me notices that my system was not protected even after I called them. Finally the notices stopped.

It blocks and alerts me of any intrusions. Dad was impressed so I got him the same product. It doesn't slow down my computer when it is running and is very fast. I would recommend this product.
