So far it's been a good added security for internet and antivirus. Never used a download security before. Just needed to use a security code to install it. It was very easy to install and use. I would recommend to anyone needing any extra security for any of your devices.

I received a 6 month Subscription gratis with the purchase of my Lenovo Flex 3 Chromebook OS and being security conscious, I was excited to have opportunity to try on not only my laptop but my phone and tablet as well. And it was in trying to extend the coverage to my other devices that I encountered the biggest hiccup - because it was not compatible at all with the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7Lite tablet. But even more infuriating was the hours I spent trying, unsuccessfully, to follow the instructions and bridge the subscription over to my Oukitel WP5. While I realize that I dont use a standard Android, the internal systems are completely current with Android 10, etc. Fortunately, I had no pressing need for Serious security and, as luck would have it, the Chromebook came equipped with some impressive internal security features - which was a good thing because WEBROOT was constantly going down on the laptop. As luck would have it, investing in a Microsoft 360 package included Microsoft Defender and using that as well as Google 1 VPN has proved, so far, to be easier to use across my devices as well as sufficient for my needs. So, Im reluctant to recommend WebRoot - I was excited to try it but disappointed with the glitches and performance. But, like I said, my security needs aren't that great at this point and I have yet to buy the devices that will make for smoother compatibility. If you have a chance, as I did, to give it a trial run, maybe it will fit your needs and equipment better than it did mine.

This is probably my 5th device to have webroot. It is what the Geek Squad recommends and I have had no breaches or problems while using it. Is there better? Perhaps, but since I have no idea how to research it, it works for me. Sometimes, it will ask me if I want to see a report and I have to admit I have no idea what I'm looking at. If something looks menacing I will call the Geek Squad but to date nothing like that has ever shown up so I guess it is doing its job.
