I bought this with my computer for good security....so far no problems. The install was easy.

Previous product slowed my computer down, this is much better and I feel secure with Webroot

We were able to purchase one year coverage for five devices for about eighty dollars. We have this installed on a desktop, three laptops, and a netbook. All installed very easily. On the desktop it runs quietly in the background, when it catches a problem a pop-up window tells me there is a virus, I click next and it removes it and rescans again. I have had no problems with it. It is web based i believe, which takes up less room on the hard drive and is constantly updated and current. We also bought coverage for two tablets for an excellent price (99 cents?) and like that coverage also.

I bought this product a year ago and recently added two more years. I have been very happy with this product. It was easy to setup and scans fast, very fast. I have not had a virus on my computer while using this product the past year. Also, if I think something might be up I can scan for any problems quickly and easily. If you are computer savy this product will let you set up advanced setting with no problems.

Great protection. Simple to use and install..even for the novice. Install and forget it.

I was told that the security program ghat was installed had to be removed and webroot installed for windows 8 to work. That was great until I tried to access the virtual classroom, and I ended up after 6 hours of trying various things, having the tech dial in and remove it . Immediately I was allowed to participate in class. My tech said that although webroot is generally a good product, it does have quirks.

Good product for protection against viruses and spyware. This has worked well for me.

It was free with purchase of my Toshiba and a nice perk. Works great, easy installation. Seems to be working great, haven't had any issues with a virus.

This is by far the most reliable and best choice in my opinion regarding computer security. I've used others before, McAfee and Norton. Webroot is easy to install and user friendly. We like the visual green when doing a search to show which web pages are safe. Won't give 5 stars due to the only thing that is frustrating is that now it asks for an authentication code when signing in to the account. I don't know what that is and doesn't show where to find it. Doesn't accept my password. Still trying to figure that one out.

The product was easily installed. Have had not issues with the computer so far. Have felt that the security was more than adequate for the computer.

easy install at best buy......and good virus protection..........worth the money

When it comes to virus protection, it is difficult to measure a products effectiveness, unless disaster strikes and it doesn't work. As far as using Webroot, it seems to work as well as any other virus protection software. But to get a real feel for it capabilities, looking to a review that compares multiple products might be the best way to go, rather than looking at a Best Buy review. That's what I did when given three different choices of virus software, when purchasing a new computer at Best Buy. I have also used Norton, which is a good product as well. From my experience: Pros for Webroot--very few popups, and no real interruptions. It works well in the background, and has a small footprint when it comes to use of system resources. Cons--if this is a con, but to work it needs a connection to the internet. My understanding is that the virus definitions used are not kept on the device, but are only accessible through the internet. Since the likely source of a virus these days is the internet, or received through something that comes from the internet (no one shares disks anymore) this does not seem like a bad solution to virus protection. Because it is web based, I don't ever get a popup notifying I need to update the virus definitions.

It's easy to install doesn't take long and it maintains your devices secure.

Webroot Secure Anywhere scans your computer every day, or more if you select the "Scan My Computer" tab. It shows you when it last preformed a scan, how long the scan lasted, when the next scheduled scan will begin. It shows you the total number of scans to date it has preformed. How many threats it has removed, and how many days are left on your subscription. It lets you select if you want the Realtime Shield off or on, the Web Shield off or on, also the Firewall off or on. It lets you select your Identity Protection Settings, & has a Password Manager, a Utilities Settings, a My Account Settings, and a Support/Community selection, so you can find FAQ as well as ask your own. Webroot Customer Support is always available if you have a question with the Get Customer Support Selection. If you are savie about settings there is also an Advanced Settings tab for you to use. We have been pleased with ours & hope you will enjoy yours too. I was advised by a iYogi Tech Support person NOT to run 2 or more anti virus programs on the same computer at the same time, so if your "new" computer came loaded with an anti virus program that you are no longer subscribing to, I would suggest deleting the "old" one before installing Webroot Secure Anywhere program to avoid any Firewall issues.

I love that Geek Squad installed and seems to be working very well. I just wonder why you call Geek Squad and they use Norton to scan??

Webroot is a great product I used two years ago when I purchased my laptop and I didn't have any issues with it. It kept my laptop protected from potential viruses. This is going to be my second time using it. Overall like any other virus protector it comes with great groundbreaking protection and works fast and quietly to defeats viruses, spyware and online threats.

We have used other programs and like Webroot the best. It is easy to insstal and has protected our computer like none of the others have.
