Customers are saying
Customers enjoy the 3-Way Light Switch for its ease of use, straightforward installation, and seamless compatibility with Apple HomeKit. The design is considered sleek and modern, and the app functionality is reliable. However, some customers have noted that the switch is a little bulky and requires a neutral wire, which may not be compatible with older wiring.

Single Pole Installation Was Terrible!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I installed the wemo and intended to use it as a single pole switch. It was a terrible decision, the single pole switch configuration is terrible, it never worked, kept blinking and clicking red. I followed every detail in the instruction book and it did not work, wasted 2 hours trying to get it to work. I then decided to use it as 3 way switcha nd it finally worked, the function works as described but the fact that it does not easily allow for a advertised feature to be used is a definite let down! I don't recommend it for single switch replacements.

Not There Yet
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Wemo 3-Way lightswitch 2pack looks like a great way to add automation to a 3-Way switch. Being able to replace a single switch in the circuit would have eased installation and made it more economical. It would be nice if it actually worked; unfortunately, the app just isn't there yet. Now, for the record, this is a Wemo installation using Android devices for control, it may actually work with the IOS app. I tried three different Android devices, a Samsung S8, an older, long decommissioned Android phone, and a generic Android tablet. I also tried to install the app on a Chromebook, but it won't install on ChromeOS, even though ChromeOS now supports native Android apps. I tried two different wireless routers, Google Wifi and an older Linksys router. I tried 2.4 ghz only. I tried multiple configurations for the Android wifi. I tried multiple resets and power cycles of the Wemo switches. I uninstalled the app multiple times, clearing the cache and data. I spent a couple of hours on the phone with customer support and was not able to solve the connection problems. They offered to exchange the units for new units, but I don't think that will solve the problem. The app would search for the switch, seem to find the switch, try to connect and fail. Since both units failed in exactly the same fashion, I believe the app to be at fault. It should not be this hard. Even if Wemo tech support had been able to get the units to connect, a call to them for a simple installation should not have been necessary. Until Wemo fixes the app and provides a simple, reliable configuration process for Android, I would avoid this product.

Obsolete product and Belkin won't support it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought several initially. In the beginning they worked well, so i bought more. Big mistake. Eventually, like many others, i learned that Belkin is not supporting the WeMo connection to Alexa. Weekly resets by Disable / Enable are required. Now Belkin is saying they will not update these products with the upcoming Matter communication system. The switch itself is decent, i preferred its design. The problem is you cannot trust Belkin to do right by you, the consumer. They will not support their product, and this one will be obsolete in less than 1 year. Furthermore, i bought this 2 pack of 3 way switches. One of them does not work right at all with Alexa. Anytime someone flips the actual switch, the info is not transferred to Alexa. So if Alexa turns it on and then someone physically turns it off or uses the WeMo app to turn it off, Alexa is not aware of this change! If next attempt with Alexa is to turn the light on, you actually have to tell Alexa to turn the light off in order for it to turn on! Belkin had a great look and they ruined it with horrible programming and support.

Complete Mess
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had 15 switches and dimmers for the past 2 years and they all just started to drop off the app and cannot be detected. Called Wemo support and reset all switches and flipped the breakers to get them all back. One week later, 7/15 switches are not detected by the app again. If you don’t want to keep resetting and flipping the breaker at the fuse box, don’t buy this product. I spent 45min waiting for support and another 30min on a second call and nobody picked up. I guess they are avoiding having to deal with the issue after my first service call. I will end up pulling all 15 worthless switches if this keeps happening. Spend your money somewhere else.
