We tried a laptop but it was so unsatisfying we needed another solution. We mounted a mini-PC on the VESA mount, and pole clamp for an IV pole, added a BT mouse and keyboard, and we have a new mobile ZOOM station. The TV sound volume is fine, the remote just needs a couple of clicks to get tot he HDMI 1 input and we are in business. This was but a fraction of the cost of a PC monitor.

WiFi stops working in just a couple of months.

But after just 2 months of use the WiFi keeps dropping out. So I have to reset the adapter 1-2 times a day, which is a pain because you have to restart the TV, search for your wifi, and enter the username and password again. It gets pretty tiring. I could not recommend this TV because of that issue which appears to be common to this device.

This is better for the bedroom because the smaller screen puts out less light. Lives up to the name Smart TV which means I don't have to.
