Should’ve known to box it up when the remote didn’t work immediately. Bluetooth remotes sucks, but shadows in comparison to WiFi issues and Westinghouse customer service. Tv is connected to WiFi, but it ‘says’ it’s not. I only know this bc a few apps work when they want to. Netflix always does, knock on wood. Bc of this, you can’t chromecast. Useless. Customer service. Where do I began. You’re speaking to someone who begs you not to speak on speakerphone although they’re in a massive call center and you don’t want all those other conversations directly in your ear. They constantly talk over you and get curt out of frustration. Have the same 5 phrases they were taught to use in conversation. Comprehension is lowwww. Hard to get them to understand much even when things are verbally simplified. Slow to move. I’ve had this heap of trash for a week, calling them almost daily and I’m told I cannot he assisted for 3 weeks. That’s a setup for missing the return window. It’s trash. Beatiful 4K display but that’s it. Don’t waste your time bc that’s all you’re getting given the various issues people describe. Crappy, faulty product and the manufacturers have no shame.

Good TV while it lasted. Setup was straight forward Installed the PBS app and was able to watch our favorite shows. Unfortunately while reconnecting cables at back,I banged it and from then on the LCD screen just showed vertical lines and so is unusable. Very fragile construction

I gave it 4 stars because sometimes the remote does not want to connect to the tv and I have to unplug the tv and plug it back on so it can work. Other than that, the picture is pretty good.

This was the easiest set up ever. Took it out of the box, read the quick setup guide and turned it on. Very clear picture. Great for the price!!!

Wi-Fi keeps going out and having to reconnect constantly but when it works it’s actually a pretty good TV for the price you pay

Set your expectations for a bit of frustration in exchange for a fine TV with a few annoying attributes you'll soon learn to live with. The remote is bluetooth, and it does disconnect after a minute or two, with an annoying message on the lower right corner of the screen. The on/off control appears to be IR and it can be blocked by anything in front of either the remote or TV. It's slow to turn-on or boot-up. I expected it to be instant, and maybe there's a setting for sleep level that I've not looked for. The YouTube app from the factory works just fine, and the result is great. Sadly, once the update is installed, the app will routinely crash. Based on forums on the web, this is a problem across many brands of Andriod TVs. Uninstall the app and performance is fine until the update is automatically installed again. Good argument for disabling auto update. As I write this, I'm using the TV as a large monitor for my 4K laptop. The screen is very crisp, with no haze around individual characters. Overall performance compares very well with my 55" 4K TV with external Nvidia Shield at far less than half the cost of that pair. If you were going to buy a shield anyway, this is like getting a 50" 4K TV for just over a hundred bucks. Overall, despite a few shortcomings, at a price point below half the nearest offering, this is an incredible value.

I'm not very picky when it comes to picture and sound quality, so I'm sure you could find more things to be critical of but overall this TV works for me, but I wish it was better. I chose this one because it was one of the very few Smart TVs to offer bluetooth connectivity. However, that turned out to be the most annoying thing about this TV. The remote control is bluetooth only. The TV can't be controlled over wifi so my universal harmony hub isn't recognizing the TV and I haven't been able to pair it with my Broadlink universal RF hub either. The remote control auto disconnects within a very short amount of idle time. So basically every time you try to use the remote you will have to press a button for it to wake up, then wait 2 seconds for it to reconnect successfully with the TV (it will show as a notification in the bottom right corner of connect and disconnect), and then you can use your TV.... sometimes, sometimes it reconnects and it is just straight up unresponsive, the remote gives an indicator light as if it is working but the TV does nothing. This is even more annoying when the TV is off because it does not give you any feedback. You usually have to press the power button 4-5 times, just for the TV to wake up and connect to your remote, then it is another delay before anything shows up on the screen and worst of all, it ALWAYS wakes up with the internet disconnected so you always have to wait another 5 seconds for it to refresh it's connection and reconnect to your wifi. Most often you have to back out of the currently opened app and wait for it to reconnect because just choosing the retry option doesn't always work. All of the above applies to the android tv remote app on iOS as well, except it is even less reliable because it is not able to wake up the tv from sleep. I'm a Hulu tv subscriber and was also disappointed to see that they offer a Hulu app but their Hulu app doesn't support the live tv option. So basically I have to use the network channel's specific app or go back to using my apple tv. Not a big deal, but just kinda lame. I do like the android tv interface better than the Roku smart tv's interface. The settings do feel like they are lacking controls though. No sleep timer. Offers Chromecast. Log into your google account so the home screen has customized content for you. Has google assistant but seems limited, and basically doesn't respond if it can or can't do something, so you're left there waiting. It has the Kodi app in the google play store. I wasn't a Kodi user before but so far it seems like Kodi offers a lot of capability.
