This is a good cheap tv. It has very good picture quality. However the smart functionality is very limited. You are limited to the 7 apps that come preinstalled on the tv.

I purchased this item on cyber Monday 2018 for a great price. I think the sound is fine and the controller so far seem to work great. The only flaw if you looking for a smart tv with alot of apps this is not it this tv only have 4 preloaded apps but for the price its great and its 4k so cant go wrong

I love my new TV, clear picture, easy to use interface. My only concern is updates for the smart TV apps since they didn't use one of the more common platforms.

The Westinghouse 50" LED Smart UHD TV is a great TV for those on a tight budget. It's lightweight, easy to setup, and pretty descent HD quality for a TV this size. The menus within the TV software are also easy to follow along, you don't have to go down many layers to get what you want.

I've had it about a month now. Good quality picture. Although it is a smart TV it only has about 4 apps on there and you can't download more. Sounds is great too.

Perfect for a small TV watching room. I purchased this for my parents to use in their TV room and it is working perfectly. Good color and sound. They watch TV a LOT and therefor it is on everyday nearly all day long from 7 AM to 9 PM.

So this TV fit the bill. 50+ inches and the apps YouTube, Vudu, and Netflix...all u need for TV and apps to stay current with all the important stuff.

Pretty good tv. Doesn't have tje capability to download apps, but overall a good buy. I utilize Netflix and Pandora much so it serves my purpose!

TV is being used a TV in my man cave... Picture is good.. Although Sound goes in and out. Sound gets muffled at times.

Bought this TV to go in our outside living area and I loved it so much, that I switched the inside living room TV with this one. The picture is gorgeous! We now have this in our living room and Football Sunday's are that much better!

Picture is great, 4k upscaling a high def feed is impressive. I don't have any 4k source but regardless, I'm happy with the purchase. The three star rating is due to the limited streaming options. Netflix, Pandora, Vudu and YouTube are the only options. I thought there might be an option to add HBO or Amazon prime, but no. That's my only complaint. If you're looking for a budget set, decent size with popular streaming options, I would definitely recommend!

Its a nice budget tv. Although the 4k is not up to the mark. It gives you enough power to view your 4k movies, games etc.

The screen is good but we have had a lot of problems with the audio. We use a ps4 and have to change the audio setting on the system, in games, and on Hulu and Netflix all the time. The settings that work for one thing don’t on another. Some games the audio just doesn’t come through properly at all so we just use headsets. It gets really annoying. The only redeeming quality is just how cheap this tv was vs others that were the same size.

Tv works great. Hookup was easy. My only disappointment is no access to hulu on the smart tv. Had to reinstall the roku to have access

I was able to purchase this TV in upgrade from a same size 1080 HD. The money was well spent as the new TV works as expected, Good.

I purchased this TV on Dec 31st, and I was very excited about it. We got it home and set it up and it worked great...for a few days. Suddenly the remote would only work intermittently. I called Westinghouse customer service, they gave me some general trouble shooting tips, but ultimately said this sometimes happens. I didn't think much of it. It was annoying, but something I could deal with. The next day however, the TV stopped turning on, via remote or manually. The Westinghouse logo would come up, load for a minute or two, and turn off. Called customer service again and they said it was defective. Bummer, so I took it back to Best Buy (I was well within the return window, and they were very gracious) exchanged it for the same model, took it home, and set it up again. Everything running normally. We picked the tv up Saturday, it is now Tuesday and we are already taking the 2nd tv back. Now when we try to engage the tv with the remote, the indicator light flashes on both the tv and the remote several times in quick succession, but does not work. Called called customer service again, they said it was defective, and wanted to start the warranty process with them. This would mean we had to mail it back to them at our expense, and since we are still within the return window for the original tv, I figure it would be less painful to just take it back and get a completely different brand. I normally like to give companies the benefit of the doubt, I know that sometimes defective units happen. But I can't keep driving to Mt. Juliet from Cookeville every 5 days to exchange TVs. Two defective units in a week's time didn't exactly build my confidence as a new customer, and it certainly didn't keep me as one. Nothing bad to say about Best Buy, they were very helpful in all this, and Westinghouse has nice customer service, but they were just bad TVs.

I bought this TV on sale for a spare bedroom that ended up getting a lot of use. Sound and clarity is better than expected. I may hook up a sound bar to it when I upgrade my other system but for every day use it is perfect.

Bought this TV because it had all the features I was looking for at the best price. Well worth the investment! Picture quality is MUCH better than expected. The smart TV control is easy to use. I would buy this item again in a heartbeat.
