Can not beat the quality for the price

I purchased this TV on sale. You can not beat the quality for the price. I am still getting use to the format since it is much different than my Visio. I did not give it 5 stars because the remote seems to work when it wants to. I replaced the batteries that came with it with brand new batteries to no avail. There is a way around it by downloading apps to make your smart phone into a remote. I had to set it up manually so I could turn the TV on. The smart phone could not locate it when it was off. I saw in another review that the consumer didn't like that TV didn't return to where it was when turned off. It always started with the Roku menu. This can be changed in the settings. I am still trying to cast from my phone without success but that I am attributing to my inexperience. I am expecting success when I can follow the steps correctly. There is lots of on tutorials for this TV. I am looking forward to much enjoyment. Well worth purchasing. Nice size, good picture, and excellent price. I would recommend this TV to anyone who wants a good affordable TV with extras some of the pricier TV's don;t have.

58” Westinghouse TV one year after buying

I took a chance buying this brand based on the reviews of others and I’m very happy with this TV. I’ve owned it and used it almost daily for an entire year without a single problem. Having Roku already installed was a selling point for me. I like the ease of use and ability to use my smartphone as a remote.
I wasn’t happy with the sound quality at higher volumes so I added a wireless JBL sound bar and sub to get it perfect. Necessary for me because at least half the time it’s on, I’m streaming YouTube music videos. The sound is probably fine for most who don’t like to turn up the volume more than the halfway point.
Setup was very easy, especially good for anyone already familiar with Roku. Fantastic picture quality and plenty of nice features. It’s just as great today as when I set it up a year ago and I’d definitely buy this Westinghouse again!
I paid less than $300 for it on a deal of the day.

I went to the store to buy the tv since there was 2 left in Tempe marketplace. I paid for it, tried to fit it in my car but was to big, the gentleman helped as best as he could to get it in my car but after all took it back in store to set a ship date to be delivered. Also, mentioned if the tv wasn’t to my satisfaction I could return it by January 14th for a full refund. After I set the ship date to be delivered the process was great, great customer service and very helpful. Tv was delivered on time and easy to set up even by myself. Had to break the box apart but but after that was fine. I love the picture and it fits perfectly in my bedroom.

This television was perfect, in the beginning. But the screen developed a static line after a short time. It became larger and was aggravating to watch after a while. The picture quality was great prior to that. The sound was low for my basement, but I had a surround sound system which made it better. I would recommend this tv as a cheap alternative for a secondary unit, but i recommend getting an extended warranty.

If you are balling on a budget this T.V. is for you! Arrived very well packaged. Foam endoskeleton inside the box to keep this bad boy from being displaced during transit. Ultralight! was able to carry it by myself. Easy to set up just plug and play. The settings are easy to navigate and set up to your liking. Sound isn't the best out the box so adjust settings asap. Let's keep it real though for the money you are saving, you can buy a soundbar to enhance it to theatre quality if it's still lacking for you. Picture is very nice for the price. First smart TV we've owned. It's cool how our favorite apps are built into the home screen and easy to access from the remote control. Netflix literally pops up at the push of a button. The fam is really enjoying this TV and I do not regret the purchase. We've had Westinghouse 32" for a over a decade and it's still going strong so I know this TV is built to last and we'll be enjoying it for years to come. Great product highly recommend for someone who wants a huge screen that's well made for a great price!

Great purchase on a low budget. Good picture, sound and roku. More than enough apps for a smart tv. I added the lg sound bar 5.1 and the sound is excellent. Nothing real fancy with the TV. Roku remote might drive people crazy with the volume button and mute button on the side of the remote and the remote is very small. Easy to misplace. Total cost with the 3 yr protection was under $400 total with tax.

Purchased 7 weeks ago. Easy set up. Picture is clear and sharp. (My photo does it no favors.) Delivery to our open garage was on time and flawless. You'd be hard pressed to find a tv of this size and quality for this price.

I purchased this TV brand new in February of 2021 and in 2023 I began having issues with some vertical lines that showed up on the left side of my screen. After some time those lines disappeared and once again I had no problems. Fast forward to about a 2 weeks ago and now I have horizontal lines at the bottom of my screen and they just wont go away. The tv isnt even that old..I gave a much older LG in my bedroom amd havent had any issues with it ever, so its insanity that I’ve already experienced so many issues with this television after 3years.

We’ve mounted our Westinghouse - 58" Class - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR - Roku TV, on the wall in our living room. Easy set up and WiFi. I liked that you don’t have to pay for a Roku tv subscription to setup tv. Plus you get a few cool freebie movies on Roku tv. The resolution is great, the sound is great. Keep in mind that, we are not into having a theater at home nor surround sound. So, it definitely meets our needs and expectations. I have had issues with the volume but called the manufacturer, Westinghouse, and they helped troubleshoot the problem. We enjoy our smart tv.
For first time online buyers through Best Buy like myself. With COVID-19 In our midst, it’s been excellent to have the option of buying online and curbside pick up. Purchasing this tv online through Best Buy was fairly easy and understandable. Liked Receiving confirmation e-mail and being able to see exactly what we’re being charged for. It is great to have the option of being able to include the person’s name that will pick up, gives that extra security and also that they have to have the pick up confirmation/code (forgot the terminology referred by Best Buy) when picking up.
Overall great quality tv for the value. Fits the budget and our needs. (Again, this would most likely be an item for people who are satisfied with not so high tech electronics).

The tv was easy to set up. It just asked basic questions like language and connecting your internet. One of my favorite features is it puts the kids game right on the home screen. We have a switch and PlayStation connected. The picture is super clear. I'm able to download a second remote on my phone too as a back up. The tv is really thin too. It's not bulky. Nice buy!

I think it’s a great value for the price. Easy to set up, nice sound and picture quality. My only issue is i keep setting the closed captioning to only on mute, but as soon as i turn the channel or turn it off, it goes back to full, on all the time captions..aside from that i think it’s a great buy.

Picture and sound are good. Setup was relatively easy. If you are careful and take your time, it can be setup on your own if you are just putting it on a TV stand and not mounting it.
The one drawback is that if you have multiple devices (4k player, blu-ray player, DVD player, etc.) connected, whenever you switch between them, the picture doesn't display properly and this requires you to restart the TV. There is a restart button on the back of the unit and it takes only about a minute, but it is a bit of a hassle if you frequently switch between your HDMI inputs.

I purchased my first Westinghouse 50" TV on a Black Friday special 2019 for my mother as a gift. It WOWd me. That first week she had it, I watched several PBS theater shows and felt like I'd actually purchased a ticket. I've had TV envy since. On the Best Buy website the 58" was priced the same as the 50"at $299, so this time I bought the larger one for myself.
This is the second Westinghouse 4K I've purchased for my living room. The black Friday deal was amazing and I expect not to see that low a price again anytime soon. This price $299 is a great deal for 58". For many years I'd see 4K TVs in that special room in the back of Best Buy for high-end TV's and they were simply beautiful and unaffordable for me.
I've heard from people who criticize this TV for having a standard refresh rate of 60HZ - and compare it to higher-priced high-quality TV. None of that moves me. Up to now, I've only had 32" 720P TVs and also just dropped off the last of my old analog box TVs to the dump. This is a really nice TV! I also bought the extended warranty and suggest that you do that for a TV.
The picture is clear and bright.
Another feature I love is that if you insert a USB flash drive you can rewind live TV for the past 90 minutes.
I wish it had a second USB because I could add a dongle to add Bluetooth for an existing Bluetooth speaker I already own. I switch it out from time to time if I want more sound. The existing sound is OK but for some movies, it's nice to add speakers for the "surround" effect. I'm not interested in buying more speakers or a sound bar.
Had I purchased a 4K TV a few years ago, I would have bought it at a time when there were few to no broadcasts in 4K and would have spent $5000. This one cost $300, as did the 32" I have been enjoying looking at for the last few years. So for close to 1/10th the price I've enjoyed TV and had $4400 NOT spent on TV.
One of the BEST pluses is that the remote has a sleep timer button on it. I also have a TLC 1080 Roku TV and to set up the sleep timer requires a lot of extra steps through a complicated navigation system. On older TVs The TV remote has a sleep timer button and on my older TVs I've had separate Roku boxes added.
One more thing. I've needed to use a WiFi range extender to link both Westinghouse Roku TVs to the internet via a hardwire ethernet cable. With the TLC Roku TV set up in the same living room space I didn't need to use a WiFi range extender. For people who may have an issue with connection, it was an easy fix for me. In parts of my old house, I get blind spots for the internet so I tend to use them in other areas.
This is what I used: Netgear AC1200 Dual Band Wireless Signal Booster & Repeater (up to 1200Mbps speed)
I already had a couple of these so I tried it and it worked.
One of my friends turned me on to the ad on Thanksgiving for the first Westinghouse 50" that we both purchased that night. I turned on another friend about the 58" and we both purchased ours the same night. Everyone is happy with their purchases and recommend this to our friends.

This television is everything you ever need for your viewing pleasure. It's a "Smart TV" so it has all of the streaming apps along with having Roku built into it. I can mirror the image from my smartphone onto it's amazing looking 58" screen with ease. Plus if it ever did break I'm only out $300. Compare to any 55" tv and you'll decide this one is the way to go too.

Great deal on this TV! The Picture quality is impressive. I have multiple subscriptions (Ex:Hulu,Showtime,Netflix) & they are all so easy to access now. The volume of the TV is the only thing that disappoints me but a sound bar will fix that.

We've used this TV for nearly 2 months now and it has been excellent! The picture is great and bright (we've had to turn the brightness down). The glare is minimal from a sliding glass door that faces the TV. Our old TV had very noticeable glare. We already had a ROKU before this so we were used to the menu, but I really like how it completely incorporates the TV where you just select other TV functions (game console, antenna, media devices, etc) from the main ROKU menu. One feature I found really helpful was that it actually makes a guide (similar to cable) out of the antenna stations showing you a schedule of future shows and what's just finished. Antenna channels show you the signal strength of the channel as well as video and sound quality that you're receiving.
The only disappointment we've found is the remote isn't a 'true' ROKU remote. It is not bluetooth and does not have a headphone jack for quiet listening. Otherwise, we've really enjoyed this TV.

I just received my my Westinghouse 58" Roku TV and it works great so far! I bought my first Westinghouse TV over 10 years ago. I was skeptical at first because I never heard of the brand, but the TV was good price and looked good in store. We are still using that TV today and it still works great. Westinghouse is a far priced long term use TV compan. *The first two pictures are the TV 10+ years old, the second two are the New TV*

Awesome T.V. The picture is very nice. The integrated Roku works flawlessly and super fast, much better than using a Roku Stick. Super easy to install and set up, was watching t.v in less than 15 min.
