Four years later and I have purple streaks starting at the bottom of my screen. I will need a new tv soon. If it weren’t for that I would give 5 stars. Just a huge disappointment.

I have a 65" Hisense, and it sucks compared to this 58" Westinghouse. This Westinghouse is worth the value hands down. Roku works fast, and easy with minimal to no lagging. Picture quality is comparable to Samsung or Sharp so very good. Sound for a room is perfect, and maybe too loud. I dont' even have it hooked up to anything 4K. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone looking for a TV in this size. I wouldn't let the price or manufacture fool you. Westinghouse has been around a long time wish I would've bought one long ago. I've been through Samsungs, Sony, Sharp, Hisense (not recommended). This TV is up there with Sony in quality.

For the price its a great TV. The picture it produces is beautiful and paired with a 4K source is not what I expected for such a bargain price. It has lots of inputs and even composite that i still use for old gaming consoles. This is our first smart TV and it so easy to setup and use. The only thing I have to say is that the TV is connected so a surround setup and when watching a blu-ray the lips don't match the screen, it doesn't do it with all movies. Almost makes it somewhat unwatchable. The sound issue is the only reason I took one star away.

I had a decent 60" LG smart tv before I sold it and got this Westinghouse. Its an old American brand that probably deserves more respect in the TV market. My LG always has wifi connection issues, and I use YoutubeTV as my source of "cable" so that kinda sucked. I really liked the LG Magic Remote though and had never tried Roku before. But I am now a big Roku fan, got another Roku streamer for my man cave TV and will probably only buy TVs with Rolu built in from now on. This Westinghouse has no issue with wifi connection, and it allows you to stream content from your laptop or phone straight to it thru the Roku as well. There is no search button feature on this remote, but you can buy that remote from Roku for like $20 or just use the Rolu phone app for a remote and you will have the voice search functions. TV is very fast in changing apps, channels, etc. Picture is pretty good, I was able to customize the settings a bit more with the phone app as well as the built in settings. Sound sucks but thats the case with almost all TVs, so get a soundbar, and if you want the remote to control the soundbar also then you will need to use the HDMI(Arc) connection on the TV for the soundbar. Only downside is the 3 HDMI inputs, wish there were 4. But otherwise I got this for $280 and believe it was a steal.

I picked this up for 279.99 on cyber Monday with the thought it would be a cheap low quality TV for a spare room, but to my surprise it gives off a good amount of brightness and if use/setup the picture modes to give accurate colors this is a top choice for a bedroom TV. This unit does require that you create a Roku account and go through a setup period which requires it to have internet access using the built-in WIFI or Ethernet for a hard wire connection. The built-in Roku is great for not needing any smart devices but it is not as powerful as some of the stand alone devices are so keep that in mind. The negative about this is that its a 60hz panel and that means It's not great for sports and action/fast paced movies, especially if you are use to 120+hz as then you will see the motion effects more so, If that bothers you then I would not recommend this TV.

it is a 58" TV under $350, plus it comes with Roku too, and 4K support. It does not have HDR or anything too fancy, but for the amount of features and size, I believe it is a great deal!

Excellent picture and easy to navigate. Only time will tell if it is built to last however. Only cons I have are that the sound quality isn't terrific (a sound bar will fix that though) and the Roku OS can be frustrating at times. For example you can't just force close a single app, you're required to "restart" the TV which fortunately doesn't take too long. Overall the OS is very responsive and the picture quality is quite amazing for being such an affordable TV. HIGHLY recommend.

Good Tv for the Price . It include Apple TV so I'm available to connect my iPhone or iPad wirelessly if need it . Roku offers a great repertory or channels + PLUTO . The only problems with ROKU TV is that is not possible to set up VPN to access NETFLIX our HULU in other Geo-Countries. However, You can set up your router using OPENVPN and the problems is Solve. This TV have great Quality , I don't use it for gaming but for me is Perfect.

I already had one Insignia Roku TV for 4+ years from Best Buy and I was looking for another one. (I will never ever buy any other TV which doesn't have inbuilt Roku) This one looked good. I never care about TV brands as I understand the electronics behind them. Last time I bought 5 years of Geek squad at home service, which I never had to use so this time I got bolder and didn't purchase the Geek squad. This 58" TV has all bells and whistles for today's quarantine times. Checked 4K on Netflix and Youtube and I will say, there is no discernible differences between 1080 and 4K for the regular eyes. Very easy to setup and use.

The Westinghouse 58" LED television is a great introduction to the 4K viewing at an amazing price. The picture is crystal clear regardless of the source. 4K blu-rays are excellent in reproduction and clarity. The hardest thing to get used to is how simple the controller is and how few adjustments that can be made to the television. It is a simple entry level television set which is perfect for someone wanting to get a 4K set but not wanting to spend a lot of money.

    DANGEROUS, EXPLODED IN HOUSE

    Posted .

Would give it a FAT ZERO!!!! Just now getting to review this in 2023 because I am clearing the broken tv from my wall mount in the living room. I bought this around Christmas of 2020, the TV broke after ALMOST one year of use and just sat there broken on the wall since. It went from the box to the wall mount, so I KNOW it was a manufacturing error!! The TV literally EXPLODED IN MY HOUSE. it was sparking, smoking, crackling. We had to unplug it immediately and even then it continued to smoke and crack. We had a fire extinguisher ready as we all believed it was going to burst in flames. Westinghouse is cheap for a reason. They have a poor design and it's dangerous! I had even contacted Westinghouse about it and they clearly didn't think their products exploding in a customers house is serious enough to respond. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AND WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER WESTINGHOUSE.

Since we are all quarantine at home, I decided to purchase a new TV. This is my first smart TV. I'm in love with it. The sound, picture quality and price was a steal. Its also convenient that Hulu, Netflix and other apps are already pre loaded so I don't need another device like the fire stick.

Only thing that prevents me from giving this 5 stars is that it has internet connectivity issues. Out of the box it wouldn't find any wireless networks. So this prevented me from using any apps or updating the firmware. So i used an ethernet cable and updated tv thinking that would have fixed the problem, but the problem still exists. I ended up just getting a fire stick but i shouldnt have had to. Other than that the tv has a great picture.

I purchased this tv on sale for $279 after a power surge killed my old tv. It’s big (not huge, but still a good size), was easy to set up, and is very simplified. The picture is good, the sound is decent, and it quickly picked up air antenna channels during a search. A great overall value for a tv of this size and with 4K tech.

I am happy with my Westinghouse 58 inch Roku TV . The color is great and the sound is very good. This TV is easy to navigate and I'm able to Stream channels despite having limited bandwidth available at my location. I researched TV's before deciding on this Westinghouse 58 inch item. Doing my research I was surprised to find that Westinghouse was still on the market. I was even more surprised when the reviews from other folks were so positive. I have no complaints. I'm very pleased with my choice.
