It appeared to be the exact same as a previous Weston dryer that I loved, but this one is smaller and far chintzier. A poor product was substituted for the original.

Would not recommend ! Takes 14 to 15 hours to make beef jerky does not dry fruit well takes 12 to 14 hours make dried bananas. This is my floor worst food dehydrator. Best Buy is doing a disservice to its customers by providing this product

Item was in error mode on first turn on of the machine. This ruined tons of bananas that we were doing chips for the kids. Would not recommend and seen numerous reviews with same issues on first run as well.

The air circulation is limited so the fruit only dries well right around the heat/air flow at the very center of the trays. The spacing of the grid of the trays are so large that once the grapes finally turned into raisins (which took nearly a week) the raisins fell through and got stuck in the trays. I don't find this item to be very effective.
