I've used a variety of beard trimmers and electric shavers over the years. I refuse to spend too much on the more expensive ones that likely do a "more efficient job" than the less expensive ones. I would rather pay significantly less and have to do a few more strokes during the shave than to have a super expensive one that requires less strokes. I had upgraded to a wet/dry electric razor and saw the benefits of being able to shave wet. I would still utilize my dry electric beard trimmer from time to time, but I didn't use it as much because of the dry limitations. Introduce the Panasonic wet/dry beard trimmer, and now I'm all good. It gets the job done pretty easily, and the wet feature makes it well worth the use. I purchased a fogless shower mirror so now I can do all the wet shaving and beard trimming in the shower vs doing it over the sink (of course you have to be mindful of NOT clogging the drain though). It does the job but I wish one was able to edge mustache better. You need another device for that.

if you are looking for something to keep up a stuble beard, then you got it. nothing more nothing less

I have a mustache and a goatee. Also my hair grows inconsistently and sometimes tickles my ears causing me to need a haircut before the rest of my hair needs it. This trimmer solves those problems. My facial hair is now all fit and trim. Trips to barber are cut in half.

I bought the trimmer for just that. My hair has a tendency to curl as it grows. The curls would tickle my ears causing me to get haircuts more frequently than really needed. This trimmer took care of that. It works great on my beard as well.

Use it to trim my beard. Several options. Have not used it for anything else.

I have two boys home and I use it to cut they hair.

It is a good package for the price. However it is not the most comfortable trimmer to hold and as a beard trimmer is not that good. It is perfect for traveling. What it does very well is cutting really close.
