Great look, price and durability. Totally functional, while aesthetically pleasing. Higher viewing because it doesn't sit on the stand, yet unnecessary to mount on wall. Easy set-up. will probably replace family room stand with another one of these.

The main reason I am reviewing this tv stand is to let people know that it can fit larger TV's than the 56 inches it states in the specs. I have had my 64 inch 2011 Samsung plasma on this stand for almost 2 years now. It is mounted on the swivel arms and fits perfect with 6.5 inches of room between the bottom of tv and the top shelf. Just measure everything first. I have my PS3, TIVO, Blu Ray, HDDVD, Onkyo receiver, Yamaha CD1300 hard drive CD player and my center channel speaker mounted on the top shelf.

More or less picked this one on a whim but it turned out to be a great purchase. Instructions and packaging of the parts are top-notch -- never any doubt about what's to be done or which pieces to use. Fairly intricate assembly, though, but it goes quickly enough. Looks great, very stable, cable management features keep everything organized. TV mounting options are very flexible -- hardest part was getting the OLD mount off the TV!

My mother bought this TV Stand at Best Buy for her 48 inch Sony Bravia TV. I put it together with little trouble. We looked at many of the Whalen TV stand products and I found all of them to be very durable and well made.

Great quality, I purchased the stand for my home office, but after noticing the excellent quality, I decided to move the stand to the kids playroom, it has room for all of the gaming systems, DVR, and cable box. It's also easy to clean.

I have an older 55" Hitachi plasma tv that is very heavy, this was the best stand I could find that would support the weight in this price range. Quality is very good, but the instructions were a little lacking when assembling.

When this is assembled, it is one strong, hefty SOB. This puppy won't fall over even if you hang a truck on it. I used it with the column wall mount option. Looks nice with my red oak ice box furniture.

I was mad at first when I realized that the swinging floater was not well-leveled during assembly. However, after some loosening and tightening of the screws on the left and right sides of the floater, my new flat-screen TV was leveled and beautifully and sturdily floated above the stand. I like its slick and modern design. The dark glasses and metal frame look really good in my re-modeled living room.

The tv stand is good design and look great for led tv. It is sturdy and good price for this tv stand. We really like it and recommended to others. However two person are required to install it.

I bought this stand to mount a 65 inch 4k television.I used the swinging floater mount and it is awesome.The stand took an hour or so to put together,but it was more time consuming than it was difficult.There is step by step video instructions on the Whalen website.Once the tv is mounted,you can move it into any position due to the swivel mount.I would highly recommend.

This is a wonderful TV stand, I love the way the 65 inch Sony 4K TV is mounted on the Bar at the back of the table and now can swivel wherever I want but no holes in the wall. And the beautiful sound bar has room to sit right under the television making it look so nice and the sound so great. And their are still two beautiful dark glass shelves underneath which you can use for your cable box, blu ray player, and whatever else you have in the way of equipment. And then the bottom shelf could be for your Blue ray and DVD's. All beautifully organized,and this is not just a tv stand it is a piece of furniture.

The package box it comes in is a bit confusing and misleading since it says TV Stand for 50 in. TV. We thought we got the wrong TV stand and had to go back to Best Buy to make sure, but were assured that it can hold a 60 in. TV. The installation was doable, though we had to elbow grease some parts in. It was not the easiest or best installation ever, I would compare the process to something similar to Ikea. The instruction booklet is a bit confusing and all over the place so we had to follow each page very carefully. It was like reading one of those "Choose your own adventure books", but instead of a book it was an instruction pamphlet so depending on what page you flipped it, you might build something different. Overall the finished product is great, the only qualm I have is I wish the TV stand was more flush and didn't have the TV protrude out so much. Expect to take an hour to build the set up.

It took me about 2.5 hours to set this thing up by myself and even after I needed to call for help when mounting the glass shelves and the TV onto it. Take your time and read the directions carefully and it'll be done and good looking before you know it. Make sure to also follow the directions carefully, you may get confused in some areas, I remember I did, but you'll quickly figure it out. I had to disassemble it because I messed up and then start over, haha.

We like this stand very much, it was at times challenging to put together but really overall it was easy to put together and my wife loves it very much!

Perfect size and functionality. We are really enjoying this stand and we got it on sale! A little time consuming to build, but worth it.

Great Stand i have a 46 inch sony fits perfect Some Reviews say it fits 60 inch tvs but havent tried

I absolutely love it, it's compact and stylish and takes up minimal amount of Room.

I recently had to move into an apartment and it has concrete walls so I did not want to mount it..this was perfect for me.

You can only hang a 50 inch of the stand...... But it can hold a 55 inch if you don't hang it over all a great TV stand
