Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll start by saying, I deeply regret not reading the reviews or researching this product before making a major investment on it. $500 is not affordable and definitely way over priced for this poorly made TV stand. My husband is very handy, and has built lots of similar products around our home. So he knows without a doubt the quality is very low. Broken parts, not sturdy, gaps in between wood, pre-drilled holes do not line up, interlocking screws cracked the wood, the list just goes on and on. Looks are deceiving. I could have gone to a furniture store and purchased a similar product for roughly the same price that's solid wood. I'm so disappointed and wish I could just get my money back.

Now having some common sense, I was able to get everything to work, tighten the warped piece little by little until other pieces were in that secured everything. If you take your time, then you will not be dissatisfied.

It is tall and well built with lot of rooms for other gadgets. I have secured my tv and stand with child safety straps anchored to a wall. I am happy with my purchase..

Our new 55' SONY 4K HD looks GREAT on top of the rich brown WHALEN unit. We left the four (4) cabinet doors with their 'original' wood inserts, rather than putting in the glass inserts that were included. Why look at ' The Stuff ' in the cabinet that you put there so you 'Didn't Have To Look At It ' in the first place !! The Putting Together / Building of the WHALEN unit was adequately explained, but was NOT ' quite so easy' to accomplish !! We had our ' MOMENTS ', but we are Still Married, and Happy that we bought this WHALEN unit. It looks GREAT. The DVD and Sound Bar fit on the two Open selves, and the 35 inch Height of the unit puts the TV at Just The Right Viewing Height, as far as we are concerned. We are Pleased with our choice of the WHALEN uni.t

As in the other reviews, the cam fasteners don't work very well. The lower front piece is warped and will not fasten in place it is warped so bad. I have assembled many book shelves, computer desks, along with other pieces of furniture and this has to be the worst I've seen. Fortunately Best Buy said they will take it back and give me a refund. I'm still a fan of Best Buy but I will definitely not buy again without reading the customer reviews. You can see in the picture there is quite a big gap from the warped front piece.

Perfect fit for the 55"LG television

The television fits on top perfectly and we added a WII game console, DVD/VHS player. The cabinet is a welcome addition to our living room.

It has great looks and I like the ability to swap the glass panels. It looks like furniture not a tv stand plus you get storage

I use it for more than just a entertainment center and tv stand. It looks great when paired with similar color furniture. Was easy to put together as well.
