A wonderful replacement for a range hood. It is streamlined and powerful machine.

Replacing a very old “ Spacesaver” microwave with the smaller unit , worked out great.. I need to fix tile or space below as there is unsightly rough tile cuts from previous unit install. The microwave works great!! Only concern I have is the number pad for times is not back lit..The hood light even though LED, is not very bright which is disappointing.It serves the purpose so I have learned to live with the two draw backs.

Excellent low profile microwave with great button layout and all the common features one generally needs. The three easy access capacitive buttons on the face of the microwave door make this model very convenient and easy to use as the door swings open with just the touch of a button and you can start and add 30 secs to your cook time as well.

Perfect size for above the range, surprisingly roomy, and easy to install!

We have had this microwave for around a month now. I am very pleased with our purchase. We haven't had any issues so far with not being able to fit items we're looking to cook or reheat due to the limited height. Since the size is limited there are not a lot of control buttons, which we knew. But it can be a little confusing knowing if you have set the microwave properly based on what you are looking to cook. I think it's something that will just take getting used to. Overall it's a powerful microwave that performs well. Definitely recommend!

I have had this microwave for only a month, but so far no issues and I really like the appearance of it. Delivery and install were as expected without any problems. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend this microwave.

Sleek design that allows more room to cook on my stove beneath it.

Very good microwave so far (had it since November 2020). The low profile looks good and the interior dimensions work great for everyday use. The exhaust fan was not as quiet or as powerful as I was hoping for. To open the door, you press a key on the touchpad instead of a mechanical push button. The light button is too close to the fan button and the buttons don't light up to be visible in the dark.

Great microwave, small but fits alot. Alittle pricey but good

We’ve had the Whirlpool Microwave for about 3 weeks now. This was a replacement for a “standard” size over the range microwave. Installation was straight forward, of course new holes were needed because the cord and support screws were in different places than the Samsung it replaced. Another thing to consider when replacing a standard size is that a portion of the wall will be revealed that has been hidden and may need repair. Mine had large holes and we had installed a ceramic wall splash that dipped down and around the old microwave, made a decorative panel to mimic the cabinets to cover this. The microwave has worked flawlessly. This may be a bit smaller but it has all the power of the standard size. Programing before you close the door takes some getting used to. Auto door opener is a nice option. Haven’t found anything that we normally microwave that does not fit in this one. The improved access to the stove top is VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is the chime this emits. Its a cute little multi tone but very high frequency. I’m a vintage person and can’t hardly hear it across the room, any background noise, like having the TV on, forget it. I can tell when the microwave stops, but the alarm is worthless.

The compact size of the Whirlpool 1.1 cubic ft Low Profile over the range Microwave is perfect. We replaced a standard size microwave above our electric stove because it didn’t allow for the steam rising from large pots. The full-size Microwave didn’t provide adequate room above the stove. The Whirlpool Microwave functions just like the full size Microwave we replaced.
