We needed additional space above our range. The traditional microwave (15.5" or more) was cramping our style--always stirring at a 40 degree angle. This new Low Profile microwave is cool, affords us the additional space we wanted, and has lots of space to fit our largest casserole. It is a win, win!

You are literally paying $200 more for it being smaller. Is it worth it? For us, it was worth it because it looks pretty. If you are redoing the whole kitchen like I do and want to make it look slick for extra $200, then it should be worth it. Microwave is nothing exceptional. It's just a shorter microwave. Thinking you may get the extra storage space because of this? There is a vent on cabinet above microwave anyways, so you won't get that extra space. Enjoy.

This is an excellent functioning microwave. It fit well with our cabinets, and having a bulk head that was exceptionally large. Surprisingly spacious inside despite being very slim fit. The only downside is that it does not come with a very good template for mounting. The template is actually the bracket that the microwave mounts with, and the holes did not line up well when initial drilled, and require some modification to properly mount. Overall, a very good performing microwave though.

Perfect sized microwave. More room over the stove.

Really like this microwave. It fits everything I’ve needed to heat in it and frees up my counter space. Exhaust fan has been excellent and holds up to my husband using caste iron pans on my stove top which used to smoke up my kitchen. Has a pleasant sounding timer.The only con I can think of, is that it’s pricey but it was worth it in my kitchen to free up counter space.

My first one only lasted 3 and a half years. My previous microwave lasted over 15 years. Is you have limited space over your stove, this is one of the few available. Just hope your luck is better then mine.

Fits perfect and looks pretty classy. Easy to use as well.

Allowed us to achieve more head room above the stove top for safety. Only downfall is that you need to add more time for heating due to the lower wattage.

Installed in a few hours. We used the recirculating option and it seems fine. This really helped since our venting connection from old range hood didn’t have much flexibility to hookup. Unit works nice seems pretty easy to use. Used the exhaust fan and it worked pretty much like our old range hood. Good microwave/hood!

We love love love this over the stove microwave! It’s beautiful and compact. It’s spacious enough to put a full size plate in it. The only thing we were disappointed in is the light underneath. It really only services as a night light. Other than that we love it.

We have been using this unit for several months, I have no negative comments, it is doing what it supposes to do reliably. It also gave us an extra space above cook top and we are very happy about.

It’s great for freeing up counter space without compromising over-the-range space for larger pots. It’s looks great in our kitchen with our other stainless steel appliances and the hidden buttons make for a sleeker design. My only complaint is that you have to cycle through all four fan speeds to turn off the fan.

Slim, yet large enough for just about anything I need. Quiet and solid.

Love our new low profile microwave! We've always had a counter model and having one over our stove has opened up more counter space in our small kitchen. This model's clean and minimal facade is just what we were looking for. I would say that the light that illuminates the stove top could be brighter. Overall, it has been an excellent purchase.

We are very pleased with our new microwave. Old one died on us after 13 years. WE needed one with a stronger venting system since we cook a lot. Our old one was 1/2 the power and our entire house would get over come with the smoke from high heat cooking. This is certainly doing a great job keeping the smoke down. We love the low profile size. Also, we have a close friend who is a professional chef, and he got the exact same one for his house.... and highly recommended it !!

This microwave fits perfectly in my kitchen given the perfect dimensions. It has advanced technology delivering perfect performance when preparing food. It's the best microwave I've ever had.
