Had a whirlpool Range Vent Hood and wanted to place a microwave in its spot. I found this whirlpool low profile microwave and it was a perfect fit and replacement for the hood. Its fit an finish is excellent, the instructions for self installation was straight forward, as well the metal mounting bracket and template is a step up from the paper ones i have had to use in the past. I highly recommend this microwave for anyone looking.

Finally found the perfect over the range microwave! For a long time, we couldn’t switch an over the range microwave due to how much lower our cabinets are than most kitchen. Despite its slimmer design, we can still put large mugs inside. Another bonus is because it is longer/wider inside, we can fit larger plates and baking dishes inside to warm food without having to transfer to a dish that would fit.

It’s really expensive for just a slim look because the rest is basic and the chime is low. (We moved into a home that didn’t have a microwave over the range. The cabinets hang lower than usual, so we needed a “low profile” microwave to meet the safety standard for above the range. We would definitely return this for something cheaper if we had more options.)

It's not difficult to replace our original GE standard profile microwave. It fits our cabinet as expected. Low profile has shorter inner place for food, but not a problem to us at all.

WHOEVER THOUGHT OF THIS I WANNA KISS YOU. Great addition to the kitchen, They mounted the cabinets in my house a little lower than I would like and put a fan hood there instead of a microwave, irritated me at first because I had a separate unit on the counter that took up space. This thing clears everything and most things fit inside it.

All of our major appliances are now all whirlpool bought this microwave to save on counter space the sleek design and black and stainless match all the rest if the whirlpool item's in the kitchen. Easy to install.

Love this over the stove microwave. Height is a great feature, as it is not to close to the flames of the stove top, like my old one was. Works great, cooks evenly. I would buy it again.

Low profile is great. Very quiet. Installed myself with no issues.

Bought at sale price, Looks very nice in my kitchen. Easily installed by my husband (it is heavy) Fan is a little loud, but not more so than my previous GE micro. I LOVE the soften/melt feature. I like that it sits high above my stove top so the micro doesn't get so hot on the bottom when I'm cooking. Overall, very good micro. I've only had it around a month.
