Replaced 8 year old GE OTR micro that began having multiple problems. Did not want all the bells & whistles that we did not use on the GE. This model fit the bill in look, function, & reasonable price. So far so good.

Purchased this Whirlpool microwave to replace a 2008 Whirlpool microwave that served use well. The new microwave is beautifully designed. Fit perfectly where the old unit was mounted. Mounting hardware lined up exactly. Works and looks great!

My mom's microwave went out and we replaced it with this one. It does everything she needs it to, looks nice, and is easy to use.

I purchased this for my mother to replace an older unit that no longer worked. This Whirlpool microwave fit perfectly into the spot above her stove and has been working flawlessly ever since. I also want to give credit to the installation team - they arrived when the said that they would, took out the old unit, put in the new Whirlpool, and verified that it was working properly. They completed the job within 30 minutes - excellent service!

The crew that came to the house were very nice and put it up super fast! Works great so far so good :)

This was a great buy. The last Whirlpool microwave lasted us 15 years so it was a no brainer on the next one. It’s larger which allows for a greater capacity but takes up more room on the counter. That in mind a bought a new solid wood stand for it to sit on. No regrets here that’s for certain.

Had to buy this to replace an existing Whirlpool microwave that had stopped working. Thankfully the mounting bracket was the same so I literally just snapped it to the wall and plugged it in. Works great and much nicer than the one I had previously.

Pretty decent microwave for the money. A little bigger than others in this price range, also. Hoping Whirlpool last longer than Samsung! We will see how it holds up!

Excellent. I love the microwave. The gentleman that waited on me was very helpful. I believe his name was John.

It comes out of the box with all the needed parts to install above a range. The only issue is: how do you attach it in the top of the microwave, if there is no cabinet above? I had to build something to make sure it stays in place. It is a nice looking range and it pulls the smoke out of the kitchen fairly well.

The last two ones in my 10+ years home life were from Samsung. The first one had around 6 years life and the second was even shorter, around 5 years. It simply stopped heating. Instead of going for costly repair, I went ahead looking for a brand new replacement. This time I went for a Whirlpool a month ago. This is very budget friendly and has all the features I want. One thing I noticed is that after a dish is heated for 3+ minutes, it seems to need some coll down time before it heats the next dish as it simply does not heat the next (it lights up, turn table rotates but you only realize it didn't heat it later)! Could this be a safety feature or a defect, not sure. Yesterday when I made hot dishes on my cooking range on three burners, the exhaust fan came on automatically and I could not turn it off. It turned off by itself after 5-10 minutes. Looks like it has a mind of its own! Is this also a safety feature?
