The only difference on the left and right side, the indentations stick out a little farther than my cupboards other than that works good.

There is no control to stop the turntable from turning. Our two previous microwaves had these and we were wrong to assume it is standard. we were told about all the other features that it has but most people want to know the basics and you can read the features in the manual. You can work around the turn table issue by removing the glass and plastic ring when needed, and it still works fine. We were we were never told the it had only one light in the back. Any microwave has cabinets on both sides and minimal height below cabinets.
