Love the look. The microwave performs well, but the air fryer does not give your food that crispy outer layer. Disappointed since the air fryer freature was the reason I bought it.

It was a little more expensive then a regular microwave butI was excited in the all in one microwave.
So far the microwave itself works well.
The fan and the light is a little irritating that you have to continue pushing the button to turn off or lower.
The air fryer…complete crap.
Even at the highest heat, the food comes out all mushy not crispy in any way.
I have not tried the oven.
Truly considering returning.
Not worth the money.

This is number 2. The first had non-working microwave. On install, number two had to have the blower turned 90 degrees to blow through the rear of the unit, after install showed the vent blowing out the wrong vent holes. Interestingly, upon taking the unit out to switch the blower, a screw was missing on the back. Is this unit new or is this a refurbished unit???

Overpriced, and can’t even pop a bag of popcorn

I was so excited for this, but our 10 year old basic whirlpool microwave was so much better! The airfry feature takes much longer than a normal air fryer and the thing can’t even pop a bag of popcorn. Our popcorn is always half unpopped kernels and if you try to keep it in longer then it burns the popped kernels but still leaves half the bag unpopped.

Microwave works great, convection oven works great. Air fryer not so much. Since I bought it to use as a microwave, the convection oven is a bonus and the air fryer, we were hopeful, but it really does not work too well. Only thing we have found that is a little issue is the volume of the timer. With the fan running in a busy kitchen, you can really not hear this thing. However, it is a microwave, so you probably won't be walking away from it while using it for too long. It is much better than our last one that was a rage inducing loud tone that would not shut up.... I'll take this any day, but they could have made it adjustable. A note to people replacing an existing over the range microwave, this one is probably bigger, it is deeper and taller. I had to cut some of the tiles on our back splash to make it fit. Not a big deal but not something I was expecting.

Great All-In-One Microwave

Our old microwave quit working a couple of weeks ago, and I didn't want to fix it again. It stopped heating, but half of the buttons had quit working on the control panel, so I would have needed to repair that, too. It wasn't worth fixing everything when I could buy a new one with more features.
I'd been researching around, because I wanted to get one that might last more than two years without needing repair. in my last two homes, I've spent way too much time repairing and replacing the microwave ovens. I think that over the range microwaves get a lot of abuse from cooking underneath them, so I wanted one that seemed more durable.
I decided to get this one for a couple of reasons.
One was that the buttons were inside the door, which might mean that they don't start malfunctioning as quickly from steam getting inside. The microwaves with the control panel on the side seem to not ever be sealed very well, so I thought that buttons inside of the door might have better protection.
The other reason was that I hoped that I could use it as an air fryer and be able to free up some counter space.
I'd also looked into which brands were most reliable, and it seemed like Whirlpool has a good enough track record.
After I had the make and model decided upon, I needed to figure out where to buy it. They sell this model at all of the big stores, but the prices are wildly different. One store in the same parking lot as Best Buy had this model for sale at a 50% higher price than Best Buy. It was exactly one dollar cheaper than Best Buy at the big orange store across the street, but if I bought it at Best Buy, it came with a $50 gift card.
I ordered it at the Best Buy customer service counter (and added the protection plan) and it was delivered to my home two days later. I opted to install it myself.
The installation was a lot easier than I'd expected. I had to swap the wall bracket from the old one to the new one, but there is a templated printed on the outside of the cardboard box that it shipped in. I was able to use two of the old bracket's holes, and I just needed to add one more lag bolt to go into a stud.
The template covered all of the necessary points. It had the wall bracket position, the place to drill the holes in the cabinet above to hang it, and the hole needed for the exhaust vent. I needed to move the exhaust vent in the cabinet floor, and I used part of the template to help cover the old hole. with everything taped down. Every step went smoothly, except for the one where you install the exhaust bracket on top of the microwave. The instructions are wrong, but you'll figure it out as quickly as I did.
The microwave works perfectly. Make sure that you've got a dedicated 20A circuit breaker to power it, because this one needs a lot of power. I haven't had a microwave with this much power before. My home energy meter reads 1,750W when it's cooking in microwave or convection oven mode, and around 1,200W in air fry mode. My old microwave topped out at 1,200W.
The microwave function is very quiet compared to other microwaves that I've used. It's not silent, but the noise levels are pretty low, especially considering the power that it uses.
The air fry feature works wonderfully. We put it through its paces to make sure that it worked for everything before we stored our dedicated air fryer. I can't say that the microwave does it any better, but it saves space, and it's easier to keep things from overcooking.
The convection oven feature is great. I've tried a few things like frozen pizzas (which come out cooked perfectly) and I've even baked cookies in it. It's convenient enough to use that if you had some store-bought cookie dough, you could decide to make just a few cookies for a little snack.
The convection oven takes just as much time to use as a conventional oven. It takes around 15 minutes to preheat, so it's not like you have an instant oven, but there are some benefits to using it instead.
I've started to pay more attention to my energy usage, because electricity isn't getting any cheaper. My "real" oven consumes 4,500W when it is turned on. During the preheat mode, both my oven and this microwave are running at full power. My oven would require 1.25kWh to heat up, while this microwave would only need 0.45kWh to get to the same temperature. I use 1/3 less electricity to get the microwave convection oven ready to use, and that savings will just continue during the cook.
Another energy savings feature, more important in Summer than Winter, is that the heat from the microwave convection oven is vented out of my roof. When the oven is running, the fan is also blowing for what I assume is to keep the internal parts cooler. Hot air is being blown out of the exhaust vent, but my regular oven has no venting. All of the heat that the oven makes eventually goes directly into my home, so I have to spend more money on cooling the home. I don't know how much this energy savings will add up, but every little bit helps during our 100° plus Texas summers.
I've only been using this microwave for a couple of weeks, so I can't vouch for its longevity, but since I bought the extended protection plan along with it, I'm hoping that I'll get at least five years out of it. I've bought microwaves from companies better known for their cell phones, and they barely made it past their warranty period before quitting.
