Only worked for 13 months

A technician came to the house for $130 but couldnt diagnose anything. And now it is completely dead. I know this model had good reviews so I guess we just got unlucky. We will try Samsung for our next.

I have only had my microwave 11 days. It is no longer heating up food. Put a package of green beans in a steamer bag..pulled it out after 5 1/2 minutes and they were still partially frozen. Will be contacting Best Buy tomorrow for a refund and for someone to come out and remove it.

I’ve had it just over a year, it started sparking for no reason and hasn’t worked since. I could hear the wires inside like they got to hit or something. No way it should be worthless after 1yr. Make sure to get the protection plan if you have to get this one! I normally love whirlpool but I guess they don’t make products like they use too!

I had bought the microwave a while ago and it was sitting in the box; the incident happened within 50 days of installing it. The repair guys said there is corrosion and needs the capacitor and transformer changed.

I bought a full kitchen about 5 years ago. This microwave, along with matching stove, fridge and dishwasher. We are on the 3rd microwave so far. No longer under warranty. So it’s cash out of pocket. Fridge broke, stove grate broke, stove knobs falling off. Etc. find another brand or plan to buy the longest extended warranty they offer.

The technology is great but the microwave has already stopped responding and will not power up as of November 2018. Before it died, there were times when you have to give it a few minutes to react. Based on previous service history with Best Buy, we're dreading even trying to get it serviced.

Scared the crap out of me as I was cooking at my stove when this happened! My husband thought we could just replace the bulb and it would be fine. We purchased a new bulb and now the light won't turn off. What a piece of garbage!! So now as a customer I'm inconvenienced yet again. I'd like a new one as this one is a lemon! I just purchased a new Whirlpool oven from Best Buy and I wanted it to match. I don't recommend!

I only purchased a third b/c it fell into my credit card’s extended warranty so they paid for it. These microwaves just stop working. Each one broke following a “zap” & flash while heating something inside. Poorly made. Very disappointing.
