Fits perfect on the overhead cabinet. Easy to install, but it helps to have another person for holding . We love the features . Touch sensitive, do you don't need to press hard on the numbers selection. All in all its a good investment

Our old GE over-the-range microwave bit the dust after only 6 years. Decided to go with Whirlpool based on good experience with their appliances in the past. Wow, this product blows away our old microwave. The 2.1 cu inches is HUGE. I could probably fit an entire turkey in this thing. It has a lot of features which I am still trying to learn. Price was good too, it was on sale. The stainless steel model looks very sharp in our kitchen. I would highly recommend this model over any other smaller models, they are pretty close to the same measurements so why not.

Replaced a very old whirlpool microwave. It definately lasted through the years. This new one is nice. The coating on the inside is much easier to clean. This one has a light inside which I like. It is 1000 watts instead of 1100 so I definitely notice a little difference there regarding cooking times. I miss the easy function of pressing 1 thru 5 for the quick press times. Door is finger print resistant, but is a bit louder when shutting the door. The sound of the microwave itself is quiet when running.. I haven't had this one long, but so far, it works great.

Great microwave looks wise and functionality also great size. Removed 1 star because we happened to get a lemon that blew a capacitor or something. So we'll see how the return process is..

Remodeled our kitchen and added power for an over-the-range microwave. This matches the rest of our current appliances. Microwave works well and has plenty of space. The favorite feature is the popcorn sensing. Never have to worry about burnt popcorn again. We have had really good luck with Whirlpool appliances. Sticking with them for everything in our home.

Clean look, stainless steel fits right in with other appliances. The interior seems easy to keep clean. Controls are intuitive and easy to use. Not fond of the blue led info screen, It’s a bit hard to read, especially the clock from a distance.

Since moving to our current home, we have had a succession of Microwave ovens. Though they've been different brands, they've all seemed to fail after a while. This is our fourth one, and by far the best. Though reasonably priced, it has good functionality and reliability. We've had it for a while now, and it's still going strong. By far, its best feature is the interior, which somehow manages to burn off most spatters. It just never looks dirty inside, no matter how infrequently it is cleaned. The turntable dish is a good size to pop in the dishwasher. My only quibble is with a couple of exterior design choices: --In low light (like early in the morning when I don't wish to disturb others by turning on all the lights, or if I forget my reading glasses when I go to the kitchen), it's difficult to make out the characters on the control panel, which can be hard to distinguish. Would love to see the designers give more consideration to Universal Design principals and make these a bit easier for older users to read in sub-optimal conditions. --On the other hand, the Whirlpool logo seems overly large; a more understated approach to branding would be appreciated.

This unit was a replacement for a 17 year old Whirlpool model that was included when our home was built. I replaced it with 45 minutes, and it is 1 cubic foot larger than the old model. It works great and we were surprised just how plug-and-play it was.
