Purchased in August. Freezer is now not working. Fridge seems to be heading towards not functioning as well. Threw away all of my frozen goods.

Purchased in June 2021. Doors do not provide confidence that they will stay shut. Don't expect help with lighting inside. Starting pooling water on shelves in month 9 of ownership. Can't find support for this problem in manual or online. Poor choice for a second refrigerator.

Great size, VERY quiet. Perfect for small spaces or as a 2nd refrigerator. Adjustable shelfs, and a vent control to adjust freeze temp. Digital controls and LED lighting are very nice!

Freezer would over freeze and not defrost. Past the warranty period of a year. Do not recommend the Fridge or Best Buy. Second Fridge in 3 years from Best Buy that had damage just outside of warranty period.

Purchased this refrigerator to buy more food due to the pandemic. The freezer holds a lot of food as well as the refrigerator. I highly recommend this product.

Purchased in October 2021. Failed in less than 14 months, and out of one year warranty. Repair cost is almost same price as buying a new comparable model. Do not buy!

Don’t do it!!! Not a quality product and literally the WORST customer experience I’ve ever had with a manufacturer.
Our fridge was used as you would use any other normal refrigerator. Professionally delivered, installed and sat unmoved for the entirety of its use. After less than a year it broke, just inside the manufacturers 1-year warranty (btw a 1-year warranty for an appliance that’s supposed to last 5+ is a complete joke). After spending literally hours on hold to speak to customers service, we we’re finally able to schedule a service call. Service technician comes, diagnoses the issue, basically it’s gonna cost more in labor to fix than the fridge is worth. Service technician puts in a request to have the unit replaced.
A month and a half goes by and no response from Whirlpool. Again, I spend hours on hold calling customer service, finally get through. First rep who “assists” me tries to give me the run around, saying that it’s out of warranty. I ask to speak to a supervisor. Supervisor also tries to tell me they won’t fix it because it’s out of warranty, even though it broke within the warranty. I insist, asking her to look at the case file to confirm that we filed a claim when it was still within the warranty. Turns out they “closed” the case, claiming that I agreed to purchase a new unit. I have to threaten legal action and reporting them to the BBB and other consumer report companies. I finally convince them to “make a one time exception out of good will” and cover the cost of the repairs.
Service technician come out again to compile a list of parts needed. Then also, spends hours on the phone with Whirlpool trying to convince them to just replace the unit. They refuse and put in an order from a third party parts supplier and tell us we’ll find out in 22 DAYS if the parts are available!
All in all, we’ve now been without a refrigerator for over three months. We’ve spent more on eating out than we payed for the fridge. Wasted both our time (on the phone and missed work for service calls) and the service companies time; and we still don’t know for nearly another month whether or not we’ll get it fixed or replaced.

This whirlpool fridge is simple and easy to setup. There’s no fancy bells or whittles with this unit and it’s a very slim design compared to your family size units. But worth it as a good secondary fridge.
